We'll all be dead in a hundred years anyway.

Instead of feeling buried by constrictions, or drowning in worry, wonder "why not?  I only live once!"

This thought keeps forcing itself into my head because I can't possibly worry any more than I'm worrying now.

Any other Mercury in Scorp/conj. Pluto/in 8th musings?

I've got mercury in scorpio conjunct pluto in the 3rd.

If you cant decipher the code, the messege isn't for you.

I don't think Mercury in Scorpio talks at all, it sits, and absorbs. And listens a lot.  At least that's what I do.  Mercury in Scorpio 11th house (or 12th... Which seems to fit me a little better) over here.

*Edit: Wait, wait, Liz you have a point.  I do talk, but only after I've "felt" this person out big time.  So I can decide what we should and shouldn't talk about.  What they can and cannot be trusted with.  Sometimes I even throw out a tiny piece of bait, and see where they take it... How it gets back to me... If it gets back to me.  I hate mind games, I do, but I won't always resist to playing them.  You can't just trust anyone with anything.  But then again, I also have a Taurus Moon... Two very loyal positions and I want the loyalty given back to me that I give to others.  Part of that is knowing that they are trustworthy.  With what I trust them with.  I don't trust all of my friends to the same degree, no way.  Some are able to handle very sensitive information, others just need the day-day things to feel like we're close, but they can't go in very deep.  Which is okay.  Sag Sun, I like to keep things on the positive side.  But you've gotta have that person (or those people) who you can just crumble in front of and know they're going to be there to help you rebuild yourself.  :)  My Mercury (and Mars and Pluto both in Scorpio and conjunct) spend a lot of time figuring out who is who for me.  It works, though.

I talk lots :) But not until I have been quiet getting to know something about the person i'll be talking to. And then often with depth and cutting wit. Mercury scorpio and moon in gemini. :)

Oh, you merc/scorp types are incorrigible ;-)

I guess I originally meant epiphanies (if any) that EVERYONE is having now that merc. is currently in scorpio.

Of course, I didn't do myself any favors mistakenly asking about merc in 8th, or merc/pluto conjunct... didn't come out the way I meant.  And merc isn't even retro.  Oh well!

LOL @ goddess!! Have told people that more than once myself!!

In general I won't be at all surprised to see those who have had their heads buried in the sand (Neptune/Jupiter in Aquarius) getting their asses kicked when Mercury/Sun/Venus in Scorpio square that conjunction. They won't see it coming either . . . because a typical Scorpio maneuver is to continue giving people enough rope until they hang themselves.

    Neith--OMG

I'm observing (for now) a situation where a person of interest is setting himself up for just that!  (He's an aquarius, I'm the scorpio)  My cappy mars is getting warmed up, too.

    When does that aspect occur?

@ WanderingStar Mercury and the Sun in Scorpio will be squaring Jupiter, Neptune & Chiron in Aquarius starting tomorrow and lasting thru the New Moon on Nov 16. Venus in Scorp will pick up where those left off until Thanksgiving. It ain't gonna be pretty.

In my situation, I'm the Scorpio and the other person is Aquarius too. Does it amaze you sometimes how oblivious people can be while walking off a cliff??? ::::shakes head::::

@Neith it would amaze me, yet I've done that plenty of times myself.  HOWEVER, I can say that I tend to walk off of different cliffs.  I.e., I rarely walk off (and thus have to climb back up) the same cliff more than twice.

This aquarius of interest is different, though.  It's like watching a bad Wil E. Coyote cartoon!  And now I feel like the ACME salesman!
