I have noticed that there are women out there that are very fashionable no matter what the situation is, that is to say, Fashion rules for them.

So lets see, In a snow storm should fashion be put aside????????

No way, you can still wear your six inch Stilettos, right?????????

How about at a funeral, should you tone it down their????

No!!!!!!!!! as a matter of fact you can even step it up.....

Should you end up in the hospital you might think this is a time to let it go, but noway say's the fashionable girl on the go...............

Now I would think that if you get arrested and put in jail then atleast then you would let fashion take a back seat, right?????

Not a chance, this is the time for all the flare you can give it.

Do you dare to stand out in a crowd and be the one that wore it before anyone else???

Sure why not, fly your freak flag high above the rest.

But beware of the trend setters, the driving outfit................

Or the Lady who was the first in fashion to get the fake boobs, does not mean we need to see them till the day she dies, but hey she began fashion right.......

Go ahead, have a tizzy fit, but being fashionable takes a life time of effort, so she say's.............But I think you are just born with it.

Certainly we should express  ourselves and let our freak flag fly all we choose in my opinion! I enjoy seeing birds of different feathers decorating my world and both male and female.  It cheers me so to look at fashion in an individual way and see how people express themselves so I loved this post, VA, I have taught you well!  You win the fashion prize this month on the site!

I am all for flying your freak flag, fashionably or not. And I'm not a fan of Daphne Guinness (the woman at the funeral) - I think she perpetuates the notion that you have to spend a ton of money or be an insider/elitist to be 'fashion-forward' which is just baloney. True inspiration and style comes from people who don't rely on clothes to define them (but instead use their own unique spirit to define their clothes), whether they are on the street or up in penthouses.

Funny thread though! I'm a clothes horse and freak though I've toned it down so as not to embarrass my son. Everyone should try dressing CRAZY for one day, just to see that it's not the end of the world when you do. It's quite liberating!

those are the worst boobs I've ever seen.

I mostly use clothes to, well, cover my body. I'm too lazy to go shopping. I can sport something that's been like three last years ago and I couldn't care less. I like the clothes that I buy and the most important thing is I'm comfortable, clean and happy  with how the clothes fit me. Besides, I don't like  the fashion today.

Oh my!  I'm LOL since I think I'm "guilty as charged" on most if not all of these fashion counts. ;D   Well...Not the beach one, yet. But as I'm still a comparitively young pup, I wouldn't count me out. !

To these though, you'd have to add to my rap sheet the # of times I've muttered "Fck-it" and stomped off to go about xyz errands all mismatched, sans hair/makeup and bloated like Shamu after a mid-morning trainer snack.  It is skeery bad y'all...

But I find, interestingly enough--that if you project yourself as though you're ready for Page 6, people look right past the stained sweatshirt, hay in your tousled hair, chipped dirty fingernails and puffy face and treat you like the Queen of Sheba anyway.
