Hi, everyone. I'm worried about my Scorpio brother, who is currently 28. He's being extremely stubborn, irresponsible, rebellious, and immature. Can anyone see in his chart why he's acting this way? Or what transit? And if it's not an astrological thing, what should I say to him? Any help from anyone will be appreciated.

    That's too bad FieryTaurus =(

He's heading into his Saturn Return... he has a few lessons to learn over the next Year or so. He also has an Aqua Moon right? So he's not always going to do things by the book... or be very good at taking advice!

I hope he gets through & settles down a little soon. Good Luck smiley

P.S the Chart doesn't show Transits & I don't know how to adjust that- or even if I can! It might be something you need to do your end?

McKenna. He HATES rules. Also, it doesn't help that he's has a bunch of FIXED energy in his chart! Leo rising/Sun in Scorpio, etc, etc. Oh boy.

=( I'm not sure what you can do... other than try not to pour petrol on his fire & be a steady influence he can count on if he needs to talk or something. Maybe he's being so rebellious because of his Saturn Return? He's going to have to "grow up" & accept his responsibilities as an adult. He probably won't like that one little bit. There is only so much you or anyone can do for him- the rest he has to do himself!

It's really nice that you care enough to try & work this out! I hope someone can come along & help you in more detail from his chart...

He's always been this way, since the day he was born. He doesn't hurt other people, just himself. I care ALOT about him, but like you said, all I can do is be there for him.

My sister's first husband sounds a LOT like your brother--he's a Scorpio stellium with a lot of fixed planets.

During his Saturn Return, my sister took the kids and left him. He tried to destroy himself with drugs and alcohol. He ended up with daily seizures.

Not sure that he learned to straighten up--he's STUBBORN. But he's paid a hell of a price.

FieryTaurus, hopefully your brother will get his act together and WON'T have to go through that kind of mess.

Mars in Virgo might be irritating his Jupiter Uranus which is also in aspect to his Aquarius Moon. That's a very rebellious aspect with Pluto squaring his Moon, too.

Hi FT. Are you the oldest sister? What's his placement in the family?

    What's he pushing/rebelling against?

IE what is it he thinks he should have/be doing that he's being thwarted in? And who or what is it that he thinks is doing the thwarting (and does he have an ideas as to why he thinks they would want to thwart?)

    Thx!

I can't see those astro.com charts but I can tell you that you are the wrong person to help based on this:

" He's being extremely stubborn, irresponsible, rebellious, and immature."

No one in their right mind would respond or open up to someone who characterized them that way. Saturn IS coming and I would get out of it's way.

ps, I don't mean this in a bad way. I am trying to help. You are too close to the situation to be effective.

We've had alot of new moons and full moons @ 3 and 18 deg.  I notice his sun is at 18 deg Scorpio, and venus at 2 deg Libra.  Maybe there's something there.  http://www.horoscopeswithin.com/

This is a pretty good site for new moons, full moons, and solar eclipses.  Hope this helps.

Agree with Elsa, if Saturn is on its way, then a saturn figure will show up, ya know?

CP Griffin. Actually I'm the youngest sister and youngest child. My brother is the only brother and he's the second to youngest after me. There are 2 older sisters than me. So I'm the fourth and youngest child and he's the third and only boy in the family.

CP, I think he's rebelling against our domineering and overbearing mother. She's a Leo with Aries Rising and Moon in Cancer. She does and doesn't thwart us children. She doesn't thwart us because she doesn't physically force us to do what she wants us to do. But she DOES thwart us in a way: She won't let us think for ourselves. Instead she tells us what to do: It can come either in a straight forward manner or it can come in a subtle manner. Would you want to do something when someone COMMANDS you to do it? In that way she thwarts us.

She doesn't thwart my brother or us from doing anything in particular. She does thwart us from doing things our way though.

    I hope this makes sense.

Elsa, I'm not going to lie, I am quite irritated with him at times, but it's because he's been this way since he was a kid. I've never characterized him that way to his face and I don't want to. I guess I'm just venting here. I guess I have a lesson or 2 too with Saturn in Libra. smiley

Fiery, you may be precisely correct. You probably are precisely correct. But what I said is probably correct as well and you don't have to state your feelings for them to be known, especially to a Scorpio.

Clearly you care for your brother and that why I said something.  You are in a pattern with him. When he is out in the world, he will run into others who have a far better chance of reaching him or having an impact.

It's hard to see you're powerless in a situation so close to your heart but if you've been ineffectual when it comes to him since the dawn of time, this is another indication that you are not the person who can help him, if such a person exists.

My advice is you shore yourself up. Buckle in for a rough ride as Saturn takes this boy down.

    Happy to hear!

Sun square Moon is very difficult as the person often doesn't understand why he switches between wanting something so deeply (Scorpio) and then detaching (Aqua).

If you tell a Moon Aqua what to do he'll do the complete opposite.

So what event turned your bro around?

    @gemster,

His Sun and Moon are 11 degrees apart. Thought that's not technically a square, I'm sure it's enough that he can feel the confusion at time!

What happy news, FT. :)   I can 'hear' in your posts how relieving this is for you to see your bro taking some positive steps.

Am curious, too, like gemster, if you have a sense about what was the catalyst for his change of direction?

wow he is exacly like me, there's nothing wrong with him really. He could be struggling interally with his feminine nature,  overcompensating it by acting more masculine I DID SAME THING and I always got a particular reaction. Don't listen to me though no matter what you tell someone their gonna do it anyways, but I will say this though, I am a man I'm already masculine and I'm feminine becuase I'm relaxed I don't need to prove it by hurting or lashing out anyway or acting like a "badass". We are water signs we should try are best to feel calm and relaxed, we are EMOTIONAL OVERLY all the time. That's why it's feminine this is all spiritual.
