In my 12 th house.  Well I have been training on my new job.  Not what I thought it would be, or what I was getting.  They want me to work on the end stage Alzheimers locked unit.   First lesson in training,  do not attempt to orient them to your world or the outside world,  you are to enter their world,  whatever and wherever that may be.  And yes it is in the basement of the building. 

Wow.  Well, daisy, think of it this way--you can only work your way UP from there, right? 

Oh, my.  I don't remember you mentioning that job description.  What a surprise.

Daisy, I have a gut feeling that you are going to really make a difference with these patients.  It takes a VERY special person to manage that type of work and I happen to think you're one special lady!  Be sure to get out for some Vitamin D on your breaks though, K?

At the risk of getting way to woo-woo, Daisy...Your description transported me directly to images of Persephone...and the less seldom aspects of her story...

We sometimes forget that, during her time in the 'basement of the world' she brought with her light and peace and hope and beauty. She infused the underworld with her energy and radiance.  We forget sometimes too, that she was never trapped wholly within that world. Persephone emerged regularly back into the living, present world where she herself was renewed and refreshed--envigorated. And we forget sometimes to recall that ultimately she embraced and valued her 'fate', cherishing her role and worth in bringing light and love to the darkness.

It does seem kinda of strange to enter a world of an *altered* reality to be the real reality, as in my reality is that job of an altered reality and then leaving it to my other *real* world.  Kind of fitting,  I had to laugh though during the day the nurse educator said, "D are you here,  you have this far off look on your face"  I wanted to say,  I am more here than you can imagine, I am a pisces rising,  don't worry, this is a good look.  

I always laugh at weather persons and say I want to be that wrong at my job and never get in trouble for it,  well now I get to be in an altered state of reality that isn't altered,  I know it sound like crazy talk.  Of course there goes my jupiter,  this line of work can be fun.   Gives serious a whole new meaning.

LOL! Boy, Daisy, you really blow my socks off. I'd love to be in the care of someone like you, should I require it.

CP I just finished reading Judy Hall's book The Hades Moon and Persephone is evoked again and again. She is a guide for me these days. Daisy and I both have Moon in Cap, only 1 degree apart.

Thanks Elsa, my Sadge is going to be optimistic.  The facility is Jewish and actively practices all the customs so maybe this will please my 9th house, besides maybe there will be a rabbi who can teach me something new,  the Kabbalah could be interesting. 

@daisy It takes a very special person to handle this type of job, I admire you for it.

Daisy, I think if anyone could handle a job like this it would be you. For some reason my 8th house Sag/Neptune think it sounds like a good fit for someone like you. I can't quite explain it, things are always so unspoken in my 8th house, but it's a comfortable, warm, steady feeling.

And my 12th house Venus in Aries understands the nature of the job.

daisy, any questions you might have, please feel free to pm me.  I grew up in a strongly conservative Jewish household.  I don't practice, but those 12 years of Hebrew School, 5 years of summer camp, it's all still there .

@daisy perhaps you can use that jupiter/sagg/9th house to be on the imaginary journey adventure with them and pisces in neptune can help that, a bit like a prisoner can use that escapist tendancy to adjust their attitude and feel free even when confined if they choose?

Perhaps as pointed out you are being given a bit of a persephone type role she's asteroid 399 and along with the great info you were given in other post above, there is i think a good one about her on Darkstar?
