No not at all! Far from it...

Is this a symptom of Neptune square Venus?

Not true for me, but I do tend to focus on what's in front of me; better than what's in my periphery. Stellium in Virgo/h. 1, worries about it all.

Sometimes. It's pretty helpful when trying not to buy stuff.

Unfortunately, being an Aquarian, yes it does often apply (detachment, being on a different planet, and so on).

mostly yes, I put things away and then forget to take care of them because I've lost the nagging urge when they were sitting out where they didn't belong.

And also, I can sometimes postpone a purchase if I don't see it all the time.  I usually don't forget because I'm a Taurus, after all.

But people, it seems the longing just intensifies.  I can really, really miss someone and no one else will do...

No - I have a stellium in worry. I mean Virgo. Though I've worked on it a lot....

Oh lord yes! I forget things I shouldn't and can't remember things I should. A cruel trick if you ask me!

    Yes and no, I guess.

    URANUS
Yes because with lots of uranus, I'm literally freed from an issue or person when I'm away from the situation. Uranus likes to detach, and what better way of detaching than to be physically away from the root of a problem :)

    SATURN
No, because Saturn urges me to remember my responsibilities (just because you can't see it doesn't mean that you haven't still got to fix it!).

    NEPTUNE
Reading @BP's post about neptune sq. venus makes me wonder if my own neptune also makes me pine for the man, even if he's no longer in the picture :(.

Goodness, after taking apart my daughter's bed to make way for a bigger one, there's like eight years of hoarding going on under it.  I guess "out of sight, out of mind" is certainly true for her!

As for me, things yes, people no.  More like "absence makes the heart grow fonder."

Absolutely.  I would forget my own name if I didn't see my reflection each morning when I brushed my teeth.  (that is if I remember to brush my teeth) ;-)

I agree with Shannon. Things, yes. People, no. I tend to think about people often.

Since I have a habit of buying certain things twice so outta sight outta mind for sure.

With Venus in Scorpio? I just wish it would happen, but no. I have people I've unresolved issues with invading my dreams.

"Out of sight, out of mind" seems to be more prevalant than "absence makes the heart grow fonder" nowadays.

Definitely.  I will usually forget something within 20 minutes of it being "gone" -- u.su.ally!

I can also agree with Shannon.

If I put something away, there is a good chance I'll forget about it, or it's existence for as long as ten years if it's not high on my priority list.

But people are never forgotten, even when I know I never see them again.

With a strong 11th house  this is often true  for me.  If someone is very kind and caring I will be more likely to think about  them when they are not in touch but I can move away from thinking about a person if they don't stay in touch fairly easy I'm afraid.
