So, I'm trying to understand this a little more in depth.  From some fellow "astro heads" and not just some more Google searching.  I'm Sag Asc at 22 degrees with Saturn conjunct at 22 degrees and Uranus conjunct at 25 degrees (so Saturn is RIGHT on top, and Uranus is 3 degrees away...)  Both my Saturn and Uranus are in Sagittarius.

But, the thing that seems to catch me is... With those influences from Saturn and Uranus... Do I come off as more of a Capricorn and Aquarius instead?  It's just weird to me.  It put Aries on my 4th, but Gemini on my 7th, Libra on my 10th.  In Placidus house (which puts Sag on my 1st and 12th and I'm "missing" Aquarius and Leo as cusp rulers in my chart...) anyways.

Haha, just trying to make some sense of this.  You can also throw in that 4th house Aries Jupiter to trine the Asc, Sat, and Ura.

What's up with YOUR ascendant?  Don't wanna make this all about me, me, me! :)

Ok, so the picture that pops into my mind is one of a rodeo bronco (Sag) in the restraining stall (Saturn) chafing to break free (Uranus)!

The filly (Sag) wants to run and romp and buck (Uranus) but even in rodeo, there is discipline (Saturn) and timing (Saturn) before the gate is opened (Uranus).

Haha and Saturn and Uranus are conjunct... All trined by that Aries Jupiter.  

Sometimes I just don't even know what the hell is going on... Or how I "come off" to anyone with that Neptune (in Capricorn at 6 degrees) also in my first house... My first house is just insane.  Really.  Neptune, Venus (also in Cap at 5 degrees so it's conjunct my Venus and Uranus loosely... Another element in itself...), Uranus all in 1st.  Saturn is at the end of my 12th house but I read somewhere that means it'll eventually show up in your first house so you can read it like it's in your first house...  I'm like aaaahhhh!!! Whoooo aaaam I?!  Sometimes it's fun to play lots of parts, but I think at the end of the day, deep down I'm just a simple girl.  Which makes sense with my Moon being in the 5th house (where the Sun rules) in Taurus.  Meanwhile my Sag Sun hides out big time in the 12th house with no major aspects from any planet...  So even that is like... Just... Aahhh.  Hahaha :) Can't put it all together. 

So I'm a crazy, classy, controlled filly?! Haha which BTW, I just found out that filly is a young female horse... Learn somethin' new everyday.  Awesome! :)

I'm no expert but I would guess that you probably come across as a combination of Sagittarian and Aquarian, with a little bit of Capricorn. Saturn co-rules Aquarius traditionally, so you've got 2 planets there representing Aquarius. Just my uneducated guess. I'm pretty new at this.

I have Pluto conjunct my Ascendant. It's a pretty wide orb but easily within 10 degrees. Pluto also trines my 8th house Sun though, so there's definitely Pluto energy from that Sun placement, not just the conjunction with my Ascendant.

The other aspects to my Ascendant are from Neptune in Scorpio (sextile) and Saturn in Pisces (opposition). Also Chiron in Pisces opposes my Ascendant (1 degree orb).

Not exactly sure what it all means. I've always had experiences where people make up their minds that I'm a certain way and I turn out to be nothing like that, and it shocks them. Have had that happen many times. Don't know if it has anything to do with my chart or if it's just human nature to make assumptions about people based on their own personal stuff before they know them. I don't know if that makes sense.

Haha interesting, Amy... And I never even thought about the co rulership for Aquarius with Saturn and Uranus... Good point!!! Wow... See, astrology has so many avenues... I just don't know where to go next sometimes.  It's awesome.

I love the intensity of the Pluto person.  It's funny.  Y'all always sense me and I always sense y'all.  I've got Scorpio Mars in the 10th house conjunct Scorpio Pluto in the 11th house and an 11th house Scorpio Mercury. :) 

Nice topic Ro. this is something that always interested me, but since I'm new in astrology, I can't really help much. those planets on Asc. should affect are personallity stronger than others. specially those in 1st house (you have really lot going on there).

I'm Scorpio Acs, with Moon and NN conjunct (in first) and Uranus in 12th. Moon in scorpio is  very emotional, and I am that way. but I always try to hide it. I  wonder does strong moon (really close orb to Asc) makes me a bit Cancerian. I'm Pisces . so thank god for that uranus.

On the other hand, there are many situations which makes most of the people emotional or upset but leave me cold. Infact,  friends tell me I most cool headed person they know. I guess that's my Uranus (and also + in ).  So I guess that's it.  things I feel - I feel to the bone, very deep. but things I don't - I don't at all.

Wow Ro, Saturn and Uranus together - that is quite a combo!  Your sun is my favorite anyway, Saggi, so you can do no wrong in my book anyway   For sure, you must always be full of surprises with that packed 1st house.

I have Neptune conjunct my Scorpio ascendant.  Also have moon there, but not conjunct.  I have noticed people teeter between not "seeing" me, like deciding they have to stand in the exact same spot I am, or shopping anywhere and always someone has to get exactly what I want and they get in my way, not to mention other drivers who drive right into my lane, barely missing my car!  On the other hand my Leo sun gets alot of attention, and my Venus/Uranus in Leo conjunct, well I have always attracted very "colorful" people to put it nicely.  When I was in my 20's, a great deal of my best buddies used to win "best costume" prize in the yearly NYC Village Halloween Parade, so that's what I mean by colorful people 

Just from your posts so far you come across to me as Fire.  So then Saturn and Uranus would temper that in their way.

Opal, I am fire, I'm Sag Sun but it's pretty hidden in the 12th house with no major aspects from any planet.  So... I'm thinking this fire is coming from Saturn/Uranus being in Sag (and 1st house) conjunct Asc (Sag) which is trine my 4th house Aries Jupiter...
