Alright, y'all... Here's the deal.  Checked out a short report forecast on Astro and this one transit in particular has me a tad bit freaked out... Ha.  So any heads up will be appreciated.  Pluto will be conjunct my Venus from the beginning Feb 2010 until mid December 2011.  

Venus in Capricorn @ 5 degrees.

Venus in 1st house

Venus sextile Pluto and Mars (both conjunct in Scorpio in the 11th house) 

Venus conjunct Neptune (by 1 degree, Neptune is also in my 1st house, ha) 

Pluto is transiting my first house even though I'm Sag rising, Saturn is literally right on top of poor 'ol Jupiter... Making me very Cap like indeed.  Asc and Sat are at 22 deg. Sag.

 My Moon is also ruled by Venus, it's 5th house Taurus Moon, and opposite to Mars/Pluto 11th house conjunction. 

Venus is on my 5th, 6th, and 10th house cusps in the Koch house system. 

So, with aaaallll of that being said... What should I be on the lookout for?  Intense love?  Possibly destructive love?  Ha destructive and love... Can those two co-exist? I think not.  If I'm going to start a relationship, I don't want anymore hocus pocus... So if that's what this transit signifies, bring it on.  But I face control issues head on... So that won't work.  Hmmm.  So share with me, your stories if you have been through this yourself.

I'm having Pluto con venus right now. -3o though. So in the end of Jan it should be exact.

In the beginning of 2009 pluto was just -1o off and nothing happened.

But then again nothing ever happens to me so I'm not a good example.

But what I have read about this transit is: sex and obsession and opposite what you are having now.

Like if you are a couple then you might be break up and if you're alone you might find someone.  (not me but others obviously!) Then it will be intensive.

Have you ever X, Y, or Z with a person you love? Love has an infinite amount of possibilities...don't fear Pluto. There is no preparation for a Pluto transit, I don't think.

I've noticed that astro.com's forecasts are written in a very matter-of-fact, somewhat negative tone. I'm not saying negative is a bad thing - sometimes things are negative. Just, don't let it freak you out too much.

I think that site is German, no? I come from a family of Austrians, and I can tell you, Austrians/Germans are not known for their sense of humor or light-heartedness.

Hmmm this is all very interesting.  I'm no stranger to the power of love, I was born with the Venus/Pluto sextile.  So I know its power.  I've never had a "real" relationship before.  Lots of flings, but never felt comfortable enough to call him my boyfriend and let it go any further.  But I'll tell you one thing... I can feel this with a certain guy... So I'm really wondering if something is going to happen with him.  It'll be up to me to just let it happen and not try to manage every aspect of it.  I'm a control freak when it comes to emotions.  As a matter of a fact, his sister (he is or was at war... for the past 7 months) told me today that he has a surprise for me (I'm thinking he might surprise me for my 22nd birthday... Dec 2) and I was telling a co worker "I wish I knew what it was so I could plan the appropriate reaction."  Hahaha, now that's an awful thing.  But I really do feel that way.  He has Cancer Venus at 2 degrees so Pluto is opposite his Venus and he's truly been hurt in his marriage lately.  We are just friends, but I feel an extra pull towards him.  Who knows? Maybe there will be some healing love here?  He also has Pluto in Scorpio.

But, like I said, never been in a real relationship.  But I have always, for the most part, played by the rules.  Done the right thing by others and rarely does it seem like they do right by me.  Maybe this transit means all of that hard work will finally be paying off.  So I'm excited, but still slightly nervous because I have no idea what to expect.  So we'll see.  Thanks for y'alls responses.  I'm semi looking forward to it.

Kashmiri, yes slight fear... Only because I have nooo idea how this will manifest itself but the more I think about it, the more I think that I know what will happen haha.

User, yes it was from Astro and it did seem to lean a little towards the negative side.  It made it sound like I'm going to turn into a complete relationship psycho and go stalk some guy, or have some guy stalk me.  Which, if the latter were true it wouldn't be the first time.  Plus no guy will ever control me, and I don't really want to control him.  I've already go that Venus/Pluto aspect... I know it's gonna be strong... But I think you can control yourself and just let it happen. 

Overall, I think my Mars/Pluto conjunction will be able to handle it pretty well.  But I'll definitely swing by as the time passes and let y'all know what's going on :)  Thanks again for the responses.  Helped ease my mind a little.

Haha y'all are funny.  I work in the E.R. and one of our most awesome nurse's moved to America from Germany 5 years ago.  This woman is so cool.  At least I think so.  She is very blunt, and very loud.  Her voice always sounds like she's angry, but she rarely is.  I know she's mad when she's not talking, and moving quietly.  Hahah, seriously.  She is animated and seems slightly more masculine.  I don't mean that in any offensive way, so don't take it that way at all.  I looked up her birthdate, she is a Leo.  Fiery indeed.  One thing is for certain though, things always get accomplished with her around.  Her work ethic is awesome, she is not lazy and I find her honesty and attitude more than refreshing.  She seems not to focus on the shallow side of things as much as most of the other nurse's do... And I love that.  Her sense of humor can be rather umm... Dark... Dry?  But I find it hilarious.  My Mercury is in Scorpio 12th house hahah.

Ro- Been going through a Pluto transit conjunct my Natal Venus and Neptune(conjunctin my natal too!). I also have a Pluto sextile Pluto to go with that. This is happening in my 2nd house and Pluto Transit is opposing my natal Moon to add to this mix.

Sooo... what I can say for this is Pluto has completely and I mean completely changed my look on relationships. I have totally changed all my relationships into balanced and loving relationships.(wow I said relationships alot.)

I am completely re-evaluating my spirituality() and what I find valuable.(2nd house)

I have also pulled the illusion away from my eyes that my family has given me.( and the )

and I am re-evaluating whether I want children now, I have never wanted children or thought about having children until this transit hit my .

This experience has given me many tears. But I thank Pluto, I kiss Hades cheek for showing me I deserve better and I can see things in a healthy way. When before it was bullshit that either I didn't see or was caught in a web that I couldn't get out of.

There is nothing to fear from Pluto, for those that fear only fear change. I have died, but like a Phoenix I am re-born into someone I value and love more. I am beginning to become happier with all these changes and obstacles I go through.  I embrace Pluto totally, it is hard but it is soooo worth it.

Right on Bretagne.  This has been my experience as well.  Although I have square from Pluto to my natal Venus in Libra, which Saturn is also moving towards conjuncting (4th house (really painful for a cancer asc. scorpio moon/mars 4th)

In addition to what Bretagne illuminated, I have also been stronger in letting go of relationships that dont serve me well and transforming relationships that had caused pain. 

You are in for quite a rich experience Ro.  Dont fear, embrace.

Wow, Bretagne and chamirose that is awesome.  Thank y'all so much for sharing.  I can already feel this... It's like I just have so many ideas about how relationships should go and be treated.  As I said, I'm not stranger to the power of love... It's in my natal chart with a Venus/Pluto aspect already...

But I really have a feeling I'm going to FINALLY get who I deserve since I've pretty much played by the rules.  So we shall see.  I will definitely keep y'all updated. 

I'm having a Saturn Pluto transit to my moon (my ruling planet and rules my sun sign). Last night I was overcome by love for my fellow human beings in the middle of a restaurant. Someone had to wave their hands in front of my face to snap me out of it. Either I have a unique chemical reaction to Teriyaki, or Saturn is doing it's work. I'm gonna go with Saturn, since this type of thing happened the last time it was in heavy aspect to my moon. On the one hand, it is heavy emotionally, but on the other hand, it's lovely because when something large is working on you, you feel connected to something larger than yourself.

Oh, and I will second the work ethic. Germans rock the work ethic.

Ahhh this is neat.  I'm actually getting kind of excited for this transit.  I didn't even think of how it would effect my Moon though.  I have Moon in Taurus.  I'm not sure of the aspects, but I know my Venus and Neptune are both "in good" with my Moon.  So it'll touch my Moon somehow too... Hmmm, any insight on this?

So you've got 5 degrees Venus in Cap, 6 degrees Neptune in Cap (Venus conj. Nep natally), 5 degrees Mars in Scorpio, 11 degrees Pluto in Scorpio (Mars conj. Pluto natally--also in opposition to Moon, the Ven/Nep conj is sextile to my Pluto and Mars natally) so Pluto will be sextile Pluto by transit, 7 degrees Moon in Taurus (trine Venus and Neptune natally) and transit Pluto in Cap is about to hit aaalllll of these around the same time.  I think I've got it all right  Hahahah.  Wow.  Yeah transformation, indeed and I can already feel it beginning.  This is gonna be intense.

I'd love to hear from anyone else who has had these in their lives. :)
