What is your experience?

Well I did leave a job that I had for 14 years, just as pluto left my tenth house, and got one that is much better for me, though there are still some huge issues in that area. Its been transiting my 11th now and is not done yet. I've had friends drop off the radar and well, my hopes and dreams have taken a beating. Still waiting for the rebirth!

Pluto conjunct my ASC

-lost my beloved apartment 

-lost my hair to surgery 

-lost one of my dearest friends

-lost a baby

-lost a lawsuit i'd been fighting for 6 years

-lost control of my finances

-lost my partner of 8 years

Good thing I have a Jupiter ruled chart...the last 18 months have been HELL ON WHEELS but I've got art and people who love me and that keeps me surprisingly happy...

oh yeah, and my hair is looking pretty these days--first time since I was about 13 I've had my natural hair colour and it looks great if I do say so myself.

the best thing about pluto crossing your ascendant is that then it is in your 1st house and you feel much obliged to do whatever the hell you please...whatever the hell you need to take care of YOURSELF. guilt and obligation to others seems to have been thrown out the window and thank the gods for that!

How does one determine the date occurance of these Pluto transits. I'm looking to review past transits and preview the upcoming transits. I'm guessing one needs an astrology software applicartion?

I've used the Astro.com natal chart which is a snapshot but doesn't provide the motion picture aspect of when it transited certain houses and when it'll leave a house. I haven't located anything other than text instruction via the Internet.

Is my question sensical? 

julian at the astro site you can enter a date different than today's date. For instance you can see what was happening to your chart Nov. 1, 1989.

Pluto transits are very slow. I think Pluto doesn't leave Capricorn until around 2024.

2008 & 2009-10: In 2008, Pluto was transiting late degrees of Sagittarius. Planets transiting the late degrees of a sign always indicates an ending cycle. It is a time in our lives wherein we must draw some life situation to a conclusion.

In 2009-10, Pluto will be in the early degrees of Capricorn. This always brings something new into our lives when Pluto aspects an early degree planet. With a conjunction, square or opposition, the stress does not mean that the situation is bad but it is the stress of doing something that we have never done before. It is a totally new cycle for us!

Transit Pluto conjunct my natal moon and I am truly feeling the stress of doing something that I have never done before.

Ok so far with this pluto transit (pluto transiting 9th, squaring the sun):

- got diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) and impaired glucose tolerance (prediabetes)

- upgraded my relationship with my best friend of four years to significant other. He is a Scorpio.

- lost my job due to layoffs

- in the process of changing careers - from creative/tech to helping. Going back to school in 2010 or 2011

- relationship insecurities, particularly jealousy/projection issues come to surface. I have a natal Pluto in Libra in 7th and an afflicted Venus.

- realized that my insecurities are based on my fears that I am not a whole or a good enough person.

- mourned for the last year because I was "so awful." Refrained from engaging in self-destructive behaviour despite having self-destructive thoughts.

- As of September 2009: I'm done mourning. I'm now acting on what I feel I "lack." Surprisingly woke up one day and stopped feeling envious about other women and comparing what they have or don't have. I'm taking the reins and taking charge of my life.

- Lost a total of 10 lbs since my layoff in June 2009. Will be losing the rest ;) 

My Asc is 5 º25” Capricorn and my MH at 29 º48”Libra, my moon is at 14 º25” Gemini, oh my Sun is 24 º59” Leo in the 8 th house.  I feel Pluto and Mars creeping up on me and I was just starting to feel some relief from Saturn going over my 5 planets in my 8th house.  I’m also feeling the Neptune opposite my Sun quite a bit!  I’m having lots of joint pain in my dry socal climate and I’m feeling very invisible! But I'm hopeful because my mercury is at 5º18” Virgo and at least Pluto will be making a trine that!

Julian, I just bought an ephemeris about a month ago and I am having soooo much fun looking up the planets movements and learning how to compare the planets movements to natal charts and also to find planetary aspects. It has really opened up a whole new world for me. And is my current new obsession! I highly recommend it.

My husband, my best friend,  experienced Pluto transit to his 10th house Sag stellium of sun, moon and mercury during 6 years of our 7 year marriage. Never really saw anything major happening. (I wasnt studying astrology during the time)

But  not long after he began a friendship with a young girl and he began to change.  Saturn then began transiting his 7th house and Uranus his 1st house and ascendant. Eventually, we separated because his friendship with the young girl evolved.  During the time of our breakup Pluto was squaring my venus in Libra.  Crazy huh. 

All the anger, all the devastation, the purging, everything I experienced from the loss of my marriage. Still, we feel a deep bond of friendship.  Looking at the astrology behind us has really helped me to see things objectively.  And accept his choices.  I dont know. Do you think this is even possible?

trPluto conj Neptune (1st hit, to degree not minute for me this year)

Very scary lol, I just... it felt as though my 7th house had died and my faith in everyone in existence had died. (Neptune rules my 7th/DC)

It has taken me a while to recover from that hit and I regained faith again... and Pluto is about to go direct, kinda scared. 

trPluto square Sun- a sort of rebirth I suppose, 12th house has my 8th house Sun as a ruler, a sort of... it's been a power struggle but I've found some benefit from it. Pluto will square my Sun for the 3rd time and idk, I have more "skills" now to better deal with it.

yeah, Pluto direct is scary, but like you say, the "skills" learned from going over and over and over and over and over stuff, is the blessing huh!

and I'm in a place right now where I am begining to see the positive aspects of transits and mercury retro and all that...its like okay here comes another wave.......

So when do you get the rebirth part of the package?

For me it seems I'm rebirthing all the time.  Its a constant process I seem to be undergoing, recovering and discovering my self in a whole new way.

I'm still hoping to have a son! LOL

My mother is going through a hard time right now. She is a Leo with Aries Rising, Moon in Cancer, and MC in Capricorn.

Pluto is pulling her apart! It is squaring her ascendant, opposing her moon, and conjuncting her Mid-heaven.
