Police officers shot and killed in "ambush"
posted 3 months ago in News and Current Events
Parkland is a hardcore crime area. it probably was an ambush and it was probably about drugs.
Boy, that doesn't sound right to me, satori. Speaking as a person with a criminal mind, the last thing a drug dealer wants is to bring the cops on. Very bad for business.
I know.. my mind races. Here in my town, a boy---BOY!---13 years old...was recently convicted of shooting a police officer in the head. The officer survived but will be impaired for the rest of his life.
"Pierce County Sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer says the officers - four male and one female - were in full uniform and wearing bulletproof vests, sitting in Forza coffee shop near 116th Street and Steele Street on the east side of the Air Force base at about 8:30 a.m"
remember the other coffee shot shooting in San Gabriel CA?
The security camera was covered, no apparent motive, no robbery..
I think this is terrorism. Clear statement, "We're in charge and fuck your rules."
I would hate to be a soldier or a cop right now. Pretty soon you won't know who is doing what.
For the record, the soldier has been in exactly these circumstances. Things degraded into so much violent chaos there was no way to tell who was fighting who.
He was able to resolve the sitution in his area. I wish he was in charge now. I'm not kidding.
"I think this is terrorism. Clear statement, "We're in charge and fuck your rules.""
Yes. That was exactly the intuitive hit I got reading your excerpt from the article. I wish the soldier was in charge too.
Well right now, the media is interfering with the investigation (buzzing around with helicopters).
3 cops are dead - murdered and I guarantee you he would shoot that copter out of the sky and that would be the last time the media interfered with one of his operations.
This is not a fuckin' joke. Better let these cops and soldiers do their jobs or you're going to see conditions degrade beyond your wildest imagination. It is unconscionable. The cops have 4 of their own assassinated, they keep asking the news crew to back off and they won't do it.
Here again, when and if they catch this guy, what should we do with him, hmm? What is the punishment for shooting 4 cops dead in broad daylight in this society? Anyone?
"A KING-TV news crew hovering in a helicopter above the scene has been interfering with the investigation, according to Pierce County Sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer. But KING says the station has done nothing wrong.
Troyer said the helicopter was following sheriff's deputies as they carried out various tactical operations and had hindered the investigation at least three times. He said KING had not respected requests to back off and that the department is considering pursuing charges.>
Person of interest - also accused child rapist...
"PARKLAND, Wash. - A person of interest has been identified in the killings of four Lakewood police officers.
Pierce county sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer said they are looking for Maurice Clemmons, 37.
Troyer said Clemmons has an extensive violent criminal history from Arkansas, including aggravated robbery and theft. He has also recently been arrested and charged in Pierce County for assault on a police officer and for rape of a child.
Troyer said Clemmons is one of several people investigators would like to talk to and can't be called a suspect at this point.
"ABC News has confirmed that Maurice Clemmons was killed after police followed leads to a city address where he was hiding. Details of the early-morning confrontation weren't immediately available, but police have said gunfire was exchanged..."
