The objectification of sex has been around since people could smear shit on cave walls.  We just happen to have a specific style of "porno-graphia"  right now born out of our media capabilities that I am referring to as an artifact of our own time.  People from the way way future will look at the reoccurring themes of our porn and interpret them as some kind of mythology.  The future will make pornography much more significant.

Depends on the significance of porn. Some use it for arousal and others an addiction. I'm with Goddess - looking at Neptune for addictions. 

I couldn't quite decipher the "arousal" part though. I would think a lot of it is very mental when you watch porn, is it? I'm asking because porn never worked for me. The first time I watched it, I laughed my ass off and wasn't turned on. My ex wasn't too happy with that. I'm thinking... an air sign? Perhaps Gemini or Aquarius (shock value)? Mars in either signs? Lunalie, I'm not really turned on  by watching porn either.  I think most of it looks really silly.  I do sometimes enjoy some good erotic writing or a discussion about things of a sexual nature.  

I think porn and erotica is so varied that the question is more about what sort of porn do you like.  I would imagine Mars placement would have a lot to do with that.  I have Virgo Mars and my turn ons are smart, refined and not too vulgar.  Mercury squared in Gemini means I can be pretty good at talking about things of a sexual nature but it's like there's a toggle switch between talking and doing.  It's one or the other.

I enjoy reading internet sex writing (and a lot of it is about the topic of sex or sexual issues, not erotica per se).  I like reading about many many things that don't actually turn me on, because I want to know about everything (have Gemini).  The same goes to some extent with visual porn - I have been known to watch out of fascination rather than excitement.

When I was younger and the interwebz were new, porn was fascinating just to SEE people having sex.  Now I'm usually only interested in it as a way to get psychologically deeper with my partner. (Scorpio Uranus and NN, maybe.)

Yeah, sometimes porn is hilarous, silly.  Other times, I desire it. I even have favorite scenarios (which I won't share here).  I'm never far from thinking of the politics of things, wondering about the lives of those men and women, how they wound up in those situations.

As for the astrology, no doubt Mars aspects. Mine is in Cancer so ideally I prefer nurturing hungry sex :) Porn is rarely nurturing! ALTHOUGH i sometimes feel nurtured by porn (and sex) -- calms me down. Like a pacifier.

I do have Ceres (the mother) in the 8th house and it opposes Jupiter (big) in the 2nd house of what I value.

With my Mars in Leo.. Well... I think I didn't discover my "turn ons" until recently. I find that the subtleties in my partners movements turn me on. Like the one time he has to make circles with his hips to warm up for his race... (Oh God does this EVER get me!) Or just looking at his hands when he draws or writes something (there's something in the way an artist holds a pen/pencil). Or just him with his back turned and taking his shirt off... i know for sure that Libra in mars men are often the sex addicts of the zodiac ,but they usually have mars aspecting venus and venus-pluto aspects .

i have looked at the charts of around seven men who i know  are sex addicts and no matter what theyre sun-sign is they nearly always have mars in libra.

i think aquarius/uranus  signs houses aspects have alot to do with it.

I agree with the mars/uranus though. My scorpio high school friend has scorp sun, mars in libra, and mars/uranus conjunct and he's fairly sexually fixated. He's prob not much into porn though but that's just my guess...
