Uranus is rolling into my 8th house right now trining my natal Uranus (which is conjunct my IC by the way.)  So I was sitting around wondering when the big surprise was gonna get here when I was overcome with nausea.  Turns out I'm Americas favorite pasta sauce, as in Preggo! knocked up, ebarrazada, with child, in the family way, expecting, renting out the "guest room."  I'm excited.  This baby is gonna be so weird (like me.) :)

Anyway, anyone else remember what was going on in your chart when you found out you were getting a baby?

Congrats!  I was only beginning to learn astrology with my last child and was clueless with the other two.  I'll have to go back and look at my aspects with all of them.  I can say my chart was completely under seige with the last one but Jupiter was conjunct my 8th house Cancer Venus when he was born.  He has been my lucky star ever since.  :)

No astro awareness for me during any of the times I was pregnant, but like yours, they were all surprises.  They made their way past the birth control I was using. 

Crackers and water right by your bedside, a few nibbles and sips before you even get out of bed in the morning, should help with the nausea.  Also peppermint tea.

Only one of my three kids, my oldest, was planned.  I did the temps, charts, the works.  It was so much WORK to conceive this kid.  Guess which sign he turned out to be?  <grin>

My other two, the Sag and the Scorp with major Aq/Uranus going on in their charts, just appeared.

Congratulations, great news!  And thanks for asking the question - I just went back and looked at the transits for when I found out I was pregnant and it's quite astonishing; transiting Pluto and Mars conjunct natal Venus and Part of Fortune, transiting Ceres in 4th house, transiting NN in Cancer, transiting Uranus in the 5th house, and get this, my son is a Pisces and transiting Neptune was going over the 5th house cusp, and transiting Moon was exactly conjunct my Jupiter in Pisces!

So then I decided to look at the progressed chart - Venus conjunct natal Sun, Sun conjunct natal Chiron, Chiron conjunct natal Jupiter - these last two conjunctions also in Pisces.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!  That is sooo exciting!!!

When I found out I was preg with my first, which was totally a surpise and unexpected. Uranus was in Aquarius in my 8th house opposing my natal Jupiter in Leo in my 2nd.

We tried and were told I wouldn't get preg again due to my age and whatnot, but when I found out I was preg with my 2nd Mars was in Scorpio in the 6th conjunct my Vertex point. hmmm fate perhaps???

I found out some interesting stuff when I looked at the charts when the kids were conceived:

Son:  conjunct my ASC; just into my 1st; trine natal 5th house conjunction; in a close opposition with .

Oldest daughter:  , and (the last two conjunct) trine .

Baby daughter:  conjunct ; trines them.  is starting its opposition to .

The common theme seems to be the two benefics and in fire signs making positive aspects to .  Does mean easy conceptions?  I wonder.
