I don't do this anymore, or as much, because I'm now aware of it!

I would go to my mum with two-way dilemmas (Libra), let's make up an example, ok "Should I go to work or call in sick?". I'd already decided before I confronted her that I wanted to call in sick and I was going to! (Aries) For some reason though I wanted confirmation from her (Libra), as if she was my boss or something haha! So I'd go to her, and fairly explain both options objectively, and the whys and why nots (Libra). Then she'd choose a side, if she picked the one I'd already decided, it was all good. If she'd decided the option I wasn't going to go for.... oh dear.... Aries would come out to play, and she's a Cancer...

I'd re-state why I think I should call in sick, persuading her to agree with me (Libra). Then if she was being a bit stubborn and the authoritative mother, I'd aggressively defend my decision, then it came out in to the open that I'd already picked a side, and knew what I wanted to do, thought I should do, and was going to do. Then she'd be a bit taken back by my strength of decision-making, and just say "ok, go for it then!", but because I was doubting myself still (Libra) I'd tell her not to be so frivolous with telling me to pick a certain side (Aries) and that she never considers alternative options because she's narrow-minded. Or something striking, just to get my point across that I wasn't happy with her, or something in myself that I was projecting on to her. She'd then be the one angry, she'd tell me "WHY WOULD YOU COME TO ME ASKING ME WHAT I THOUGHT? IF YOU'RE NOT HAPPY WITH WHAT I ACTUALLY THINK? IF YOU'RE SO SURE OF YOUR OWN DECISIONS, THEN GO FOR THEM!"...

Then I'd burst in to hysterics, and I wouldn't be able to stop laughing, because she was angry at me, and pointed out that I'd projected all my inner-doubt on to her...

Anyone up for playing sea-saw with me? Heh razz

Oh and also, time for some projection - My friend who has a Cancer Ascendant with a Capricorn stellium in the 7th house, is always going on about people being too harsh with her, even if they so much as disagree with her, she takes it as an attack on her level of intelligence. Then she passes around the word "Tough!" like christmas cards in december, when it comes to other people's feelings... err hypocrite razz!!!

Just a note on your friend - worse than a hypocrite, but that's a person who genuinely thinks people should bow down to her feelings and needs, treat her with kid gloves, and kiss her toes, while she gets to go around ignoring other people's concerns. Well obviously, because she thinks she's the best!

Oh no starkttn, as ugly as it is, what she does, is not out of thinking she's the best but out of insecurity and self-defence (negative expression of Cancer ascendant).

And when it comes to other people's feelings, she's very much ruthless Capricorn in nature, with her Capricorn stellium - "oh well" *sarcastic remark*.

I've pointed this out to her, she doesn't seem to give me much of a reply when I do... and I've been blunt about it too, and in those cases she turns in to Cancer all of a sudden and says "well that's harsh sad"...

People with 7th house Suns (especially stelliums to boot) have difficult first 20 years of their life, because they have internal war, and play sea-saw with other people, and encounter alot of antagonism with other people, and conflict, and opposition.

She'll probably loosen up, when she has a Saturn return.

Or maybe Pluto will sort her out.
