My question i guess is pretty straightforward: i have mars in scorpio, and i'm
always scared when i get in a new relationship that the guy is going to cheat on
me/leave me for the next pretty girl that looks his way...is that because of my
suspicious nature due to my mars in scorpio?

The first guy i fell in love with was a cancer, with his moon in gemini and his
mars in leo. He lied/cheated on me quite a bit in the beginning and i always
believed what he told me until i found out otherwise. I have Linda Goodman's
Love Signs and in it, it says that sometimes the Gemini man can permanently
leave scars on the Sagittarius girls heart. I realize his moon was in gemini,
and not his sun but i figured it was still relevant.

Anyway, i guess i can't figure out where this fear comes from (or if it's even
astrology at all). I have my moon square pluto which creates much inner
friction. I also have mars square moon, and from what i understand that means i
take things much too personally. My venus in capricorn DOES make me a little
cautious in love as much as i hate to admit that. I hate being so skeptical
though, and i want to start trusting people and stop worrying so much. I'd love
it if there was anything you could help me with! :)

Oh and the guy i'm seeing is a little younger than me, his birthday is august
18, 1988.

i did cheat on someone when i was 16... but i felt AWFUL like didn't forgive myself for years.  i HATE lying... it was a matter of days before i came clean, and there was never any doubt in my mind that i wouldn't.  if he's anything like me, he can't help but be honest.  i dunno if he's got a scorpio moon too, but that will make him slow to trust.

sweetlilsarah258 ...My advice to you would be to look at your patterns in childhood or family dynamics for the answer to your question.Astrology is applicable, but only if you undertsand the underlying dynamics and make the  connection about how you utilize  your particular placements/aspects in your life.The reason is that two charts may have much or exactly the same aspects, but the individual may utilize them differently.So, you need to use astrology in mutual relationship to your particular life-story for you to get the best results. I should add that even a professional astrologer would need you to fill in the blanks since he/she may present various scenarios/descriptions concerning your chart placements.The more input from your end, the more accurate the results.

 I don't know if I am making any sense to you, but I would say that it is helpful to view  planets and aspects  as the paint but not the picture.Everyone's picture is different, although some may use the same color palette.Try to figure out what made you distrust originally.Then, when you pinpoint the astrological reflection of this you need to examine the ways in which this energy may be used to conciously serve you.Same energy;different approach.Hope this is helpful even though it is not so directly astrology-based.
