On June 5th/6th 2012 (depending on where you are), Venus will be crossing directly between the earth and the sun.  It will appear as a black dot on the face of the sun.

This is a rare event. The last time this happened it was 2004. The next time it happens, it will be 2117!  I doubt any of us will be alive for that - lol.

This transit happens at around 15 degrees Gemini and Venus will also be retrograding at the same time.

It will be close to my Gemini moon - eeps!

Funny thing though, in 2004 Pluto was just starting to touch my Sun.  This time Pluto will be touching my moon.  Bookending his transits to my sun, MC, merc, and now moon.  hmmmmmmm

McKenna mars is in virgo squaring mercury in Sag. and the Pisces moon is opposing mars.... It was bound to happen sooner or later

the last time it was June 8 2004 around 17-18 degrees Gemini.

And before that it happened 1882 !  It is a 243 year cycle.

I am positive it will be annoying too.

I checked and it's exact at around 9:18 pm EST on June 5th at 15 d 45' Gemini (Sun/Venus conj) as WELL Moon/Pluto are also conj in Capricorn - about a degree off so what the heck?

It will conjunct my Mercury in Gemini rx by less than 1 degree I think in my 2nd house. And possibly conjunct my Moon in Gemini at 6 degrees too. Mmm, sounds lovely, says my Taurus ruled chart. I just love it when Venus moves into Gemini. TDO had Venus in Gemini rx, and I like that placement for sentimental reasons. : )

As for being broke, count my almost totally broke self in. But with a mutable house of self worth/net worth, it tends to fluctuate year to year *gulp* hopefully.

That's opposite my Neptune and filling in the missing leg for an Air Trine.  :)

june 2004 was ok for me - stressful, first year of grad school.

Hmmm. The 2004 transit was a shitstorm. Looking back and moving to the present, I've come a long long way. I quit my job. I quit writing (including for a living). I quit a relationship (which resurfaced, oddly in December 2010). I quit a lot of things, come to think of it. Including, in a lot of ways, quitting myself.

This transit is squaring and sextiling a whole whack of stuff. Including natal Venus, (some still incomprhensible thing with Mars), Jupiter (Asc), Saturn, Uranus and Pluto.

I think I'm going to continue being as diligent as I can in coming to home base. And maybe I'll plan a dinner party. I also quit those.  

And if I go down in flames, so be it.

In 2004 Venus was at 17 Gemini, and that year was a huge landmark year for me, love, family, moving countries, new language, environment, everything. And this summer...well I'm near breaking point over here so hope I handle the opposition energy well to my Sag. Ruler mercury will be at 27 degrees.

As for the chart, wow, Venus/Sun squares Mars in Virgo exactly, and Moon conjunct Pluto squares Uranus exactly too...
