Rolling in the Deep: Neptune in Pisces discoveries
posted 3 months ago in Astrology Stories
I took two anti-histamines and spent most of the day asleep.
Neptune is heading back to my NN, 3 Pisces. This should be interesting.
Shades of Neptune entering Pisces: An American guy has discovered a shipwreck that was sunk during the second world war and went down carrying fabulous wealth, off the coast of America somewhere. He now wants to dive to recover that wealth (I can't remember all the details). Meanwhile, divers in Italy want to go down under the sunken Costa Concordia and recover diamonds, watches, jewellery and so on that passengers were wearing when she sunk. Apparently the Concordia was a bit of a 'floating hotel', and passengers would wear their best and most expensive jewellery when going to the casino, just to show it off to other passengers.
urrrggh Neptune! Too many distractions! My chart has quite a bit of Neptune in it and all I can say is right now, thank god I have a few good aquarian friends to give me some air in new depths of my life :)
Further to what Josi and Wizron were noting above:
1. a link to the discussion about the object at the bottom of the Baltic Sea:
http://boards.elsaelsa.com/topic/divers-find-large-unexplained-object-at-bottom-of-baltic-sea
2. "Treasure hunters claim to have found the sunken remains of a British steamer torpedoed during the Second World War filled with platinum, now worth $3 billion"
3. "Costa Concordia shipwreck is treasure trove of passengers abandoned belongings"
Thanks for those links Mahchi. Something else about Neptune being in Pisces (now) occurred to me today. I go to a movie theatre and the big screen regularly to escape reality (or just to experience a different reality for a while). Obviously a lot of other people do the same, because Hollywood is still producing movies for mass consumption, and there are a shitload of exciting new movies that will be released this year. What occurred to me is that it will be interesting to watch what happens to the movie industry now that Neptune is in its home sign. Perhaps Hollywood will receive some sort of makeover, or the theme of the major blockbusters that are made will change significantly.
Also, I remember there was a lot of comment on these boards recently about new fashions that would occur once Uranus entered Aries for good. I would think that fashion will receive much more of a jolt with Neptune entering Pisces, because Neptune rules cult worship, and also cultural trends within the arts.

Holy Land (Whale) Shark Batman!
"Hollywood director James Cameron has returned to the surface after plunging nearly 11km (seven miles) down to the deepest place in the ocean, the Mariana Trench in the western Pacific."
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-17503395
The article goes on to reference the resurgence in interest in what is in the deepest parts of the ocean.
Dumb newb question. I have a 4 planet stellium in the 12th house (mostly Gemini & on the 1degree Cusp of cancer. I also have a lot of neptune aspects. Will this transit affect me?

Tomorrow Neptune moves into Pisces permanently for the next 14 years or so. Neptune was last in Pisces from 1848-1862. Alot has changed in the past 150 years including our understanding of the depths of the ocean. Water, water everywhere.
But holy moly, today scientists announced a new discovery from the deep dark of the ocean floor:
"A huge crustacean has been found lurking 7km down in the waters off the coast of New Zealand. The creature - called a supergiant - is a type of amphipod, which are normally around 2-3cm long. But these beasts, discovered in the Kermadec Trench, were more than 10 times bigger: the largest found measured in at 34cm."

What other discoveries will we make over the next 14 years? What else is rolling down there in the deep?
