This post has been brewing for quite some time.  The energy of Uranus and Saturn are kicking my marriage around like a rusty tin can.  My husband has been growing through quite a learning experience with Saturn over the last couple of years.  Knowing that his 7th house is packed with a stellium in Virgo (Saturn, Mercury, Venus, N. Node, & Mars), I had been bracing myself for a lot of changes to occur.  Yes they have!  We had our third child within a few days of his Saturn Return beginning, he has been saddled with heavy work obligations that are causing our family to be separated for months at a time (he's a soldier, too), and to top it all off Saturn is now conjunct his natal Venus 7th house @ 23 degrees and Uranus will soon opposing this same spot shortly.... all while we are apart.  What a sh*tstorm!

As if things weren't tough enough, my Pisces Moon @ 25 degrees 4th house has made me a freaking basketcase.  Sleep has been a problem and my anxiety level has been through the roof!  Does anyone have any sunshine to throw my way?

gazzy--I've lived and observed the military family lifestyle my whole life.  I understand how tough and excruciating it can be.  Gosh, if there's any knowledge I've gathered, or trend I've seen...it's that honest communication and committed support makes a huge difference.

Are you a stay at home mom?  Do you make time for yourself?  Your hobbies and whatnot.  I spent a few years at home until the kids started school and during those years, my mind and thought process got the best of me.  It's not easy when you are dealing with it by yourself on top of that.

Yeah, Saturn in Virgo has been a tester, but when I look around the circle, I can never think of a place where Saturn won't be a tester.  Still, I think it's supposed to be moving toward Libra in the next few weeks.

For high anxiety levels, what I learned when I sobered up is you can keep it down in small intervals.  Put a priority on staying calm for the next thirty minutes to an hour, instead of thinking about all the stuff that's tripping you out.  I can always stay calm for thirty minutes.  Then build on it.  Shoot for another hour.  Next thing you know, you have a morning under your belt, and you've been pretty serene the whole time.  Get the momentom going in the other direction, little by little.

You probably have some places in your chart that you can build on.  Stay with the strength of your chart.  And when you go to bed at night, have something in your mind that you're looking forward to doing the next day, I mean something that you really love to do.  Then get up and make sure you do it.  Live every day like that, no matter what.  For me, it's the literary trip.  I either have something that I'm writing or something that I'm reading.  Always.

But, hey, I spend half my time making sure my fire planets aren't getting out of line.  All it takes is about 3.6 seconds, and I owe somebody an apology.

    Shell-

Thanks for your understanding.    I am a stay at home mom at the moment, but if all goes well I should be taking on some volunteer work soon.  It should give me some much needed time for myself.  Crossing my fingers that it all goes through.  I have been slowly learning about astrology over the last year and it has truly becoming something that I enjoy learning. A hobby, really.  That said, the descriptions of these transits to Saturn and Uranus are just terrifying to read about.  I keep seeing the words "affair", "relationships ending", and "marriage killer" floating around these, especially when dealing with Venus.  In an already vulnerable state, I wonder if my hobby might just be causing more anxiety for me.

I just received word that were going to be relocating cross country and need to pack up by the end of November.  Another unexpected change... just not excited about the prospect of doing all of this by myself.  I'm trying to take things one day at a time (hell, things are changing day by day!) and my Sag heavy chart always seems to keep me upbeat and fairly balanced in the long run.  In fact, travel and change are something that I usually thrive on.  This whole Uranus conjunction to my Moon has really knocked me off center and I'm hoping to get my sea legs back soon.

    Vicaris-

You are so right about Saturn testing you, no matter where it's at.  After reading your response, it really hit home.  I could worry myself into oblivion about what's going to happen next OR I could pause and take things in small doses.  Saturn moving into Libra doesn't promise a stress free path (Venus, N.Node, and Pluto 10th/11th house will all be conjuncting Saturn at one point or another), but- like you said- I can always stay with the strengths in my chart.

Thanks for the anxiety relief tip.  I have already tried breaking things down into smaller chunks and it really does seem to be helping.  I will be a while before I reach 30 minutes, but you have to start somewhere..right?

Just curious if anyone knows when this Saturn/Uranus Pisces/Virgo mess will finally be over.  I know that the retrogrades will be playing a part, but it'll be nice to finally be done with the crazies!

    gazzy--

It sounds like you're getting back on track.  One other thing you can do while you're calming down in the shorter intervals is to make a list of what you're grateful for.  Write it all down.  You might find that above all, you're grateful to be alive.  As a recovering booze hound, I always start with that.  The other thing I ask myself is, do I want to be anyone else? And the answer is always, "No."  Whatever the challenges, I'm glad I'm me.  This is the road.

While I still think you should make a real effort to practice the calming effects of living in the present, if you want to take a more optimistic view of your future, then it might be an idea to remember that jupiter will be moving into pisces in early January of 2010.  Here's what Robert Hand says about jupiter conjunct moon in his book, Planets In Transit: "This is an extremely positive transit.  You feel emotionally secure and in touch with your feelings, which you can express clearly and honestly, both to yourself and others."  He writes about four more paragraphs, but you get the idea.

Here's my point: saturn is moving through your chart, but so is jupiter.  After jupiter moves through pisces, it will be entering Aries, thereby conjunct with my moon and trining the Sadge planets of yours that you mentioned.  Plus, you have the other inner planets like venus moving through your chart, trining your planets at various points and giving you some really beautiful days.

    Good luck...
