Saturn In Scorpio: CDC Warns Untreatable Gonorrhea is On the Way
posted 3 months ago in Health
Oh, good heavens.
How Saturn is this?
~~
Later stage complications:
Both male and female sufferers of gonorrhea are liable to undergo a condition of joint called arthritis (gonorrheal caused arthritis) which includes the symptoms in knees, ankles and wrists. This complication includes a permanent pain and swelling in the joints accompanying with iritis or conjunctivitis. The second important complication is bacteremia, a condition in which the blood contains the bacteria with the symptoms of fever, chills and joint pains.

This is sad. But I am not souprised with Saturn getting teady to go into Scorpio and Pluto in Capricorn. I bet there will be no money for research either. Obama just signed a bill devoting money for Alzheimers can we say Neptune in Pisces.
whoa. I knew I should have saddled up sooner... :(
I sure hope they get funding for elder care, it's like $4000-$6000 a month in this little burg...who knows in the bigger cities?
If you give up everything you have and get on medicare and stay in an actual nursing home, you're covered. But at least here in Ohio, very few assisted living places are covered where the person can live somewhat independantly. Medicare covers some places but you have to make less than my dad does.
this issue highlights another healthcare issue:
...
"This is just one more example of a bigger problem—bacteria are developing resistance faster than we're inventing new medicines to fight them."
"According to a PEW report, only two new classes of antibiotics have been introduced since 1968 because antibiotics are difficult to produce and are less profitable than other drugs."
You know I had a thought about Scorpio-Saturn's last run...
When Saturn was in Libra we had this tra-la-la AIDS only effects homosexuals and drug addicts mentality. It won't happen to us! We're in a happy heterosexual relationship!
When Saturn hit Scropio is about the time that people started to realize, oh crap. It's not a "Gay Disease". Married people get it. Straight people get it. Children get it. It's not getting cured (Scorpio, other people's money). People are dying.
I haven't totally formulated how I want to explain the whole thing, but Rock Hudson's death in 1985, at the tail end of Saturn in Scorpio seems to me like Saturn going out with a bang.
Doh! Should have put this in my last post.
I think the recent SNAFU between Komen and Planned Parenthood, Pfizer birth control recall, and the ongoing debate about whether employers are required to offer birth control coverage in their health plans are just an appetizer for what's going to come when Saturn is in Scorpio. And that's just here in the US. Globally, holy shit.
I really see something largely traumatic happening related to sexual health. I'm trying to figure out what sort of delusions we have right now in regards to sexuality and relationships, but it's hard to see it when you're in the midst of it. But I'm certain some sort of delusion is going to be shattered.
LOL @dorchid.
Wow @McKenna I had no idea that even sextiles/trines would have 'bad' manifestations. (You know how beginner astrology teaches you that a grand trine or a mini grand trine, such as the one we'll have of saturn in scorp, pluto in capricorn, and neptune in pisces, can be nothing but good?).
IS GONORRHOEA PREVENTABLE? :( Maybe I should be celibate too.
Have all the sex you want until October 5? when it enters Scorpio!
Go! Go! Go! ![]()
Looks like celebacy in my forecast. Maybe those spiked rape-preventing female condoms too. My fears are running on ahead of me, but I'm wondering if "loose" unmarried women and those thought to be sexually active are going to be demonized.
I'm paranoid, if you can't tell.
Still, you know, be responsible and take care everyone.
@jocelyn, you said..."But I'm certain some sort of delusion is going to be shattered."
See, I was thinking that the Neptune "component" here was going to cause trouble through people being delusional. Either from misinformation, or misunderstood information about the diease (or diseases... who knows?!), or through having their romantic goggles on & not taking appropriate measures or precautions to protect themselves.
Thinking about your theory though, maybe FINALLY, all those dickheads who believe having sex with a virgin will cure them of HIV/ AIDS will have their myth soundly dispelled somehow, & stop wreaking havoc. That would be good!
@McKenna- I hope you're right re: the dickheads!
I don't have a fully formed opinion on this whole Saturn in Scorpio thing quite yet. We're going to have a trine between Saturn in Scorpio and Neptooooon in Pisces. That is supposedly a good thing, but I'm not sure I buy it. All I can envision is people walking around in a Neptunian fog (which I almost spelled "fague"... way to go Neptune!) and having their asses handed to them by Saturn and not being "present" enough to learn from the experience. Maybe that whole not being present thing means a worldwide dumbing down, but this is Pisces we're talking about- it could be widespread substance abuse. Substance abuse combined with Scorpio who is all about sex, death, possessiveness, and other people's money? OUCH.
The thing with Saturn is that you ultimately get what's coming to you. It brings you to your knees (heh! Capricorn-Saturn-knees... astrology joke)
Disclaimer: I hope nobody reads my interpretation of Pisces and Scorpio as offensive. I'm a Scorpio-Saturn baby and have a 12H Sun and Pisces Moon- I'm one of you!
Ha @jocelyn... I don't have a fully formed opinion either... I'm workin on it ![]()
You're theorising about Saturn & Neptune too!!! I posted this...
http://boards.elsaelsa.com/topic/neputune-forward-saturn-backward
but it kind of crashed & burned =D So thanks for passing on your ideas... really interesting & glad to hear another view.
&, no, I haven't taken anything you have said as offensive. At all ;)

I didn't think we ever really recovered from the last time when the AIDS epidemic started. I mean, sex has never again been the free and easy thing it once was...
when you think about it, we were lucky. Back in the day they had the pox (syphillis) and it was incurable.
@brizo... yes, that's true! Once upon a time, the "worst" thing that could happen is that a girl would fall pregnant. It's so sad that one of the few good "free" things in life, is saddled with all THIS! =(
Are we ever allowed to have fun without any risks/ lessons?
um... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
@jocelyn... thanks for the bump ;), I'll go check it out. For some reason, not too many are interested in the subject... cept you & I
We must have some common transit to our Neptune/ Saturn at the moment... or something.
