Saturn in the Composite Chart

    Hello all,

I have a question. I am well aware that, normally, having Saturn on the descendant of a composite chart is usually a very bad sign, and makes a relationship quite difficult to even get off the ground. However, I have encountered a composite chart with Saturn conjunct the descendant but with Saturn VERY well aspected - composite Jupiter also conjunct, composite Moon trine and composite Mercury sextile Saturn on the descendant. There are actually no bad aspects to Saturn in this chart. My intuition tells me that these good aspects can actually make Saturn on the descendant in this chart beneficial, adding stability to the relationship. I would like to get a second opinion though :)

We have Saturn in our seventh house composite.  Things got off the ground... to offer a time table we meet on a Sunday, had our first date Wednesday and barely spent two days apart until recently (Saturn/Pluto/Moon Transit).  To be quite honest I think by the end of the first week the union became a force of it's own.  It's not an "easy" relationship, but it is by no means an unpleasant one.  It is a serious relationship, their is a focus on responsibility, to one another as well as others.

As individuals, I believe we are two people well suited to shoulder a seventh house Saturn composite.  For example, as an individual  have Saturn/Venus so Saturn is always in the mix when it comes to love for me, I'm used to it's flavor.  How do you respond to Saturn's energy?  Does t make you feel used or useful?  Do you like it... does he?  Looking at the individual charts helps to offer clues as to how each person will respond to the composite elements.  The synastry chart could offer insight as well.  But I'm not an astrologer and Elsa's consults are well worth the money.

There are things to feel hopeful about, Saturn is not poorly aspected, same here, and there are plenty of what you perceive as positive aspects.  In the end it is all perception.  We have Venus/Uranus so Saturn in the seventh provides much needed balance.  Looking at all the aspects, the energy of the overall composite, without isolating one often shows the bigger plan, if you will.  Personally I've felt there were bigger things to worry about, like Pluto presently tranisting out 7th.  So it's about where you are comfortable, where I'm no stranger to Saturn, Uranus and Pluto trip me up.

Hope some of this has been helpful.

    Best Wishes Darling
