As Saturn begins to oppose my Ascendant again and dip back into my sixth house Virgo, I am reminded about a health issue that developed in the last few years. I developed sensitivities to a variety of food. I especially have to check prepared food for additives. Of course when you eat in a restaurant you really have no idea what they put in sauces etc. All was quiet on the western front until last night, when I was reminded about this. I woke up after a couple of hour sleep with a wave of nausea and dizziness that lasted about half an hour. A mild reaction, thank god.    

Orlando, I learned the hard way that sometimes you have to surrender your desires (career, love, fears, friendship, ego) to survive in some extreme situations.

Yes.  And I've got a pretty good idea of what I'm gonna learn during the encore--more of the same!

I.e., dealing (conclusively, I hope) with some reeeeeally delusional people who looooove to hold on to shit!  But heaven help them if they look like they care!  *rolls eyes*

Saturn is currently well into my 11th, makes sense.

Nope.  I never remember what I've learned until it's pointed out to me by others -- it either becomes a part of me and I don't remember ever assimilating it, or I avoid the lesson entirely.
That's one of the reasons I always feel so cheated by Saturn.  I never actually feel the lesson, it just happens or not almost as if by accident.

But I've got Saturn-Neptune natally (and also by transit for now) so I don't expect that to change, really.

Oh boy.. Here goes Saturn in Virgo again ;)

In my last Saturn return (in 6th house Virgo), I learned that I need to stop being such a workaholic and just take care of me first...

... obviously I'm still learning this as I've been putting in necessary 12 hour days at work though I've dropped all my other freelance clients just so I don't drive myself off the wall and into the hospital.

Orlando--11th deals with associations and general social circles.  Saturn + Virgo + 11th = Learning Lessons by Scrutinizing the Company I keep.

 I learned to be very careful with details at work. It seemed everytime I turned around, someone was nailing me for a little detail I missed hear or there. I have Merc in Sag so tend to overlook these things on occasion. It was kinda driving me nuts! (Virgo on my MC). Also, learned a hard lesson on integrity and the intranet involving a group of acquaintances. It may have cost me a relationship, at the very least a better friendship with a Virgo...

i learned i am responsible for taking care of my own damn needs. not everybody elses to avoid dealing with mine, but mine. and it's nobody's fault by mine if i don't take care of them. nor is it my thing if theirs aren't met.

i am getting reminded of this, damnit. you wouldn't think this would be a big deal, would ya?

it is for my ass.

i am also reminded that i have a responsibility to take care of myself, physically, mentally, emotionally, and that others suffer if i slack. that i must set limits, both for others and myself if these balls are to stay in the air.

PallasAthena- Thanks! My Ascendant is at 29 Pisces. I have been told that my Ascendant is more  Aries than Pisces which makes sense much of the time. Lot's of action in my twelfth house right now and for my Ascendant soon. I was thinking about Saturn's dip back into Virgo this morning. It might be like a final exam and then hopefully on to the next semester. Thanks everyone else for posting!
