Hello, I wonder if other posters can advise me on the following question: I have Saturn just beginning a transit of my the 10th house of my chart and had decided to travel home in the next few days.

However, I am on a H-1 work visa (I've been here 10 years) that needs to be stamped in my home country for me to reenter the U.S (a standard procedure which though does give someone else the power to decide whether I return here or not).

Shortly after purchasing my ticket home, I had a dream about getting stuck in a distressed environment (similar to my family home in real life which has always been emotionally difficult and overwhelming for me to connect with throughout my life). In my dream, there was no way to return to my life in the US and I was stuck where I was.

In light of my dream whose ending was so definitive, an astrologer friend advised me that with the upcoming Saturn Square Pluto collective transit coming up, both travel and visa renewals could have some unforseen complications due to events in the collective. (As I write this, I am thinking of the San Francisco bay area where all of a sudden BART is running standing room only and the bay bridge is temporarily closed.)

What I understand from my friend was that while the dream may have purely personal significance, energetic tensions are building up currently due to the Saturn-Pluto square and may have a significant release close to November 15 due to the intensity of the square. I also recall that air travel was affected in September 2001 when Saturn was in gemini opposition Pluto and that Saturn is currently in Libra another air sign while it is soon to square Pluto.

My friend told me my dream may possibly be a pre-cognitive warning to not travel home and that if I didn't absolutely need to go I should wait and watch till the events around the upcoming square become clear and then make travel plans.

I don't want to get stuck back home due to events outside my control. At the same time I haven't been home for 4 years and would love to go.

My question is therefore whether this is a good time to travel home when Saturn will Square Pluto in just 15 days. What if I go and return before November 15--will that have a better chance of working out okay?

If not, I was hoping to have my mom travel to visit me but she would only be able to come in late November and again I wonder if I should have her travel due to the Saturn-Pluto square energies.

I appreciate any wisdom you can contribute to my dilemma.

Your question is interesting. I'm not able to post your chart here but I took a look over at astro.com.

You have Sagittarius ASC, which means your chart is Jupiter ruled. I would disregard your friend's prediction. You need to go home, then go home. Those with Jupiter ruled charts are apt at dealing with problems AS THEY ARISE.

With an outer planet such as Pluto it is near impossible to make plans to avoid an upsetment as it moves too slowly to see something immediate. Especially within such a small window.

Your Progressed Sun is in Cancer. I'm sure your desire to see your mother will trump the possibility something bad might happen. Dot your i's and cross your t's and don't forget: Sagittarius is born to travel. Have faith. Your Pisces Moon needs that of you.
