Saturn will never let me have a fling
posted 3 months ago in Astrology Stories
I'll just have to find someone else with a 7th house Sun + 5th house Saturn
I have Pluto in my 2nd house, in Scorpio, inconjuncting my Sun and squaring my Saturn
Yes, I was just about to say the same ting as dorchid. If this tactic doesn't work, switch to another one.Show your 5th house Saturn qualities and people who are attracted to this kind of energy will respond to it.
By the way, my sympathies for the Saturn-Pluto square. I was born a few months before you and I have it too. *High five* LOL
I don't see Pluto in the 2nd as enjoying flings. Flings are for people who like to be in and out, and Pluto wants to be sure of something, no?
It sounds like you want to have mastery over dating, and right now you're discouraged. Take heart, there are many late bloomers who are just as happy if not happier than their peers, in the long run. Think about the tortoise vs the hare. Focus on what you truly want and to hell with what everyone else is doing. Wherever our Saturn is, is where we should be comfortable with failure (that's my take, anyway).
Yeh what you said about flings is true!!!
I don't want to be in then out just like that, what I have with the person, must be genuine!!!!!!
But I do want to have fun, flirt, be creative and playful together with this person who I have something deep and genuine with!!!
I just can't wait for my major transit-attack, because I'm a bit bored...
February the 18th of 2018:
Jupiter will conjunct my natal Pluto in Scorpio in the 2nd house...
Pluto will conjunct my IC and natal Uranus and natal Neptune in Cap in 4th house...
Venus and Neptune will conjunct my natal Moon in Pisces in the 5th house...
Uranus will conjunct my natal Sun in Aries in the 7th house...
The Sun will conjunct my natal Saturn in Aquarius in the 5th house...
Oh and all those transits, are tight ones as well, not loose ones, about 3 degrees as the orb.
If the orbs were looser, then I'll also have (at the same time as all of those) the Moon conjunct my natal Venus and Mercury in Aries in the 6th house...
Sorry I'm a bit depressed and winey at the moment lol.
Thanks for the advice...
If you don't mind me asking, what is your age range?
hello, I guess the issue must be that with Saturn in 5th, you take play too seriously.
I mean, 5th house is about sex as play, romance, light hearted romance, seducing/filtring, child-like aproach in this stuff. So, trial and error, thing about a baby that experiments and fails, but then he tries again, and does not feel heavy about that.
With Saturn there, maybe you feel responsible, you may take your "failiures" too seriously, or you are more aware about inmature attitudes regarding romance. Too say what you mean, it´s not always what is looked for in filtring and seducing.
To see this house through other "eyes". I have Scorpio in 5th, so I am all or nothing. I can play, but I play hard there will be a lots of teasing, secrets, seduction, suspiction, manipulation, and displaying of complexes.
5th house and 7th house are about different aspects of life, try to observe your house´s energies and learn about yourself. We are all different, and we all have issues to work out. the important thing is to know yourself in order to better what you are not comfortable with.
VirgoLeoRising I don't really have one, I take everyone as they come, except, realistically I don't go for a total underager or an oldie.
Mary I do take play seriously!
The worst one is, in the past, when someone flirted with me, I thought they fancied me and wanted something more with me.
Now I think more realistically! And I find it depressing that all they want is to flirt, just for fun, or to get in to bed, just for fun!
I want commitment! I think... I'm a bit confused, I also have my Moon in the 5th house, in Pisces...
I reckon the Aquarius part of my 5th house is aligned with my Libra Ascendant and the Libra within my first house.
The Pisces part of my 5th house is aligned with the Scorpio in my first house. Since a Scorpio first house typically places Pisces in the 5th.
So yeh, I have a very serious approach I guess, and it's also the area where I feel at home and settled down.
mahchi Oh yeah :D
Saturn return!
I forgot about that one...
I look forward to mine, let's see how much I loosen up haha! Oh no what if I become a player haha!
Well, you look pretty young, like in your 20's in your profile pic...and you seem to be rather nice looking. (I am prolly WAY older than you so don't get any ideas....lol)
Every person, has to go thru stuff, and you are just going thru stuff right now. This too shall pass...
RLAS- I doubt you'll ever become a player...what happens after 30 is that the others just start catching up with where you already are. It's okay to be a bit more serious in your 30's. The 20's are all about fun and playing for a lot of people but then many get bored with that and start wanting something more fulfilling.
Hey, take heart. I also have 5th house Saturn. And yeah, it can really suck.
If you don't mind my asking, how old are you?
I never dated until I was 18, and up until that time it felt like I was a complete failure as a human being. I know it really feels like you're invisible until someone else really SEES you, and that feeling of desperation led me to make some really stupid relationship decisions when someone finally did take an interest.
My first serious relationship hurt me very badly. I threw myself in too deep, too fast, ignoring or not seeing some serious red flags. Do not let this happen to you!! When you do finally meet someone, (which I will address shortly), do not fall into the trap of feeling like this is your one shot and you can't blow it, thus putting up with all sorts of shit that should have sent you packing. If the first try is a flop, do not despair! There will be others!
"I don't want to be in then out just like that, what I have with the person, must be genuine!!!!!!
But I do want to have fun, flirt, be creative and playful together with this person who I have something deep and genuine with!!!"
This I understand absolutely!! And this is where I think I can offer you hope, because even with my 5th house Saturn, I have found this. I am married to a wonderful man who treats me like gold, and we have all of the things you just described. We both bring our own challenges to the table of course, and the relationship itself presents a couple more, but we genuinely love each other, are committed (Saturn word) to each other, and we do have a great deal of fun together!!
Funny thing though, we didn't meet till I'd given up on trying to find a relationship and redirected that energy towards developing my self, -being- myself, authentically trying to not worry about what people would think and doing my best to express my own spark of creative divinity. Then we stumbled into each other by total coincidence, clicked immediately and were married six weeks later. This was four years ago. (Did I mention we both have a strong Uranian influence?)
Anyways, I hope you don't get stuck down there in the dumps. I honestly think you'll have better luck finding somebody if you take that Saturn discipline and apply it to your own creativity (5th house).
@RisingLibra-AriesSun-
Just and advice from and old lady that just passed her saturn return in libra:
You knew Saturn is about boundaries, did you? So it´s a great thing that you know what you want: commitment. So, when you meet a new someone try to get to know them to see if they are what you REALLY want to COMMIT yourself to.
People who do wel COMMITMENT, tend to comit just because it´s our nature. But I´ll tell ya sth. Not everyone it´s worth commiting yourself to.
I guess that if you have that in mind, next time you meet someone, you´ll be able to have fun WHILE you take your time to get to know the other (and if they are someone worth committing to)
Saturn is also about TIME, you know?
You'll never believe it!
Out of absolutely nowhere, I Just got asked by a curious Scorpio to meet up, in 'that' way!
After a bit of me talking about myself, we both agreed we're probably not for each other hahaha!
But we're gonna meet up anyways for the sake of it...
Our Suns tightly-inconjunct, but let's see... ![]()
Hahaha Caroline :)
dorchid Saturn in Scorpio? :P mine is in Aquarius, it's his Sun which is in Scorpio...
Uranus is transitting my Mercury-Venus in the 6th house, it will directly hit my Sun by 2018 because my Sun is at 27 degrees, it will hit my Sun in the 7th house.
So it's currently transitting Venus, and will enter the 7th house house soon.
So yeh, interesting!

I do what everyone else does, I make the effort...
I go looking for people, I put myself out there, I try not to scare people away.
Also, I'm not particularly ugly, off-putting or anything, I don't go on about my problems, I don't do anything too excessively, or wrongly. I'm an alright person. I'm not amazing, but I'm alright...
Why have I never even been on a date?
Why does every person I take interest in, ignore me... I've already analysed it and I don't come on too strong, I'm not clingy, I don't send 5 texts and more when I'm not getting a response. I'll send 1 text, wait for a response, then after days later, send 1 more text incase they just forgot to respond or something, then I leave it at that and don't go out of my way again.
Also when people have been interested in ME... I've made the effort to respond back to them, to be honest about how I feel, to not let them have any false thoughts. I'll just tell them I'm not sure if I'm interested back or not but I'll keep speaking to them anyways. They appreciate it. Then wow, I realise I'm interested, I tell them, and then they are suddenly on to someone else like THAT.
I've had nothing.
I have 5th house Saturn.
