Hi :). I'm very new to this site, and have no idea what I'm doin. Just warning ya...

I had a dream when I was around 15 about meeting this man, both of us were older, more like in 20s. It was a very normal dream, I met him, we talked, blah blah. But throughout it all I kept getting this profound and incredibly deep feeling that I was meeting my soulmate. Or at least someone very important to my life. He told me his birthday, and he was a scorpio.

 I'm currently 22, and have had a few boyfriends, but I have NEVER been able to forget that dream. I'm currently dating a WONDERFUL guy. I love him so much. But this dream just KEEPS coming into my mind, still. I have not been able to forget. I've had to excuse myself from his company to cry in the bathroom, because I can't stop thinking about my scorpio. It's like someone's trying to pull my heart from my chest.

 I'm a pisces with a taurus ascendant and an aries moon. I am not so impractical, or delusional as to think that a dream can mean anything but a dream. I truly worry that I'm creating a fantasy that I can always rely on so as not to get hurt, or projecting, or something of the sort. I've even tried to think of him as a part of me, or a father figure, or a guardian angel. But none of it feels as right. This is someone I will meet in reality.

If anyone has any advice I'd really like to hear it

I wish I had some advice for you, but the last time I tried to meet with a man in my dream, it ended badly.

Pisceans rule dreams and illusions, they are symbolised by two fish swimming in opposite directions one lives in reality and the other lives in fantasy. They are comfortable in the realm of imagination and hold onto feelings much longer than other signs.

Moonrainfall--Wow, I had the same experience when I was in my early teens (I also have very intense dreams, they have such a profound affect on me and always have).

I never forgot the dream, I dreamt of a young guy (I was a teen, remember) that was my boyfriend.  I couldn't see his face, but he was warm, familiar, INSANELY familiar.  In my dream I felt like I knew this person for a hundred lifetimes.  When I woke up I cried because I really wanted to stay asleep because the feeling I felt in my dream was like I was with my soul mate.  I was bothered about it a few days thereafter (What the hell was that dream?  Who was the person in it?)

But here's my advice:

I get that feeling with my husband, and I'd be lying if I said that I felt that way the instant I met him, or that I feel that way all the time.  That kind of love and connection comes with time.

i'm a pisces  too and i've had dreams of meeting people and then i did...including men who became lovers, but i've also had lots of dreams of people (including men) where nothing transpired!!..... so i suppose i'm no help on the matter for you except to say that if i were you i would go as fully as possible into your REAL and WONDERFUL man now...

your dream might have represented  the union of male/female... or the two sides of your soul uniting within you

Fascinating post. Perhaps it caught my eye because I'm a Scorpio Sun with Neptune in the twelfth house. Dreams are very important to me. Not even only the kind which happen at night. The ones when you're awake, the ones that happen during class.. Who says dreams were limited to sleep? But then again, those dreams are often the most vivid, and memorable as they weren't just a passing thought. 

I had a dream about a perfect guy when I was going through a really shitty time in my teens. I'm 20, btw. It was like a flash of light, an embrace and then daylight came around and these images dissolved from the screen in my head.

Having Venus in Libra, the ideal of love becomes larger than life to me... put on top of that Venus Quintile Neptune in the 12th... and you've got a head packed full of ideals... but with the highest of highs you always have the impending low. "Someday my prince will come.."  as they say... only if i weren't so unfortunately idealistic. My heads up in the clouds there, somewhere, and although it would be the practical choice to come down.. my heart acts on other impulses.

I had two of these dreams that are entirely different from each other.  And identified the individuals in both cases.  Now, this is a self-knowledge that you are going to take to your grave because you can't go right up to the person and tell them.  It's against the rules.  They should be able to recognize you in the same way that you recognized them and wait for that to happen if you the time to wait.  Meanwhile, get on with your life and move on and accept the fact that knowledge per se is deep and unfathomable and leave it at that.
