My ex-colleague recently broke up - his choice - with his live-in-girlfriend. We've been sending messages at work (he is now working parttime in another branch), but  I saw him the first time after the breakup on Monday. We had the first real conversation in months. A part of it went like this:

Me: "So, did you find a roommate already?"

Him: "Yes, but he/she (no way of telling, since personal nouns in my language are gender neutral) only moves in next month. So I have the appartment all for myself."

Me:"Cool, so you can leave all your stuff where ever you like and play Battlefield III all night."

Him:"Actually, I don't have time to play that much anymore (he studies). And I cleaned up everything. Washed cupboards, walls, cleaned all the drains too."

When he said this, I could hardly hold my smile. This guy  is a Scorpio Moon who doesn't believe in astrology, in fact, he used to roll his eyes vigorously when ever he overheard another girl and I speaking about it. Yet, I've thought about this for two days, and still can't think about a more Scorpio Moon way to deal with a breakup. You go and you clean all the drains in the house. Make sure not a hair remains!

Whoa, that is it right there.

Classic.  *grins*  Not to mention Virgo Mars right now.

I've been a cleaning fool in the last month.  Hadn't made the Scorpio moon connection and I haven't cleaned the drains but now I kind of want to.  Get that sucker's energy OUT.  

Haha...I know a Scorpio who destroyed everything their ex gave them...down to their favourite tee shirt. Burned it. Then she went out and bought everything new again, including the exact same shirt. Phoenix rising no doubt, watch out!

Changed her phone number, blocked her email, moved to a different city...I was like, you go, girl!

She's got 5 or 6 planets in Scorpio and 1 major planet in Capricorn, forget which one.

I'm a Scorpio Moon and I handle break-ups a bit different than that. The really serious relationship break-ups have nearly killed me, I feel everything soooo deep. There was only one relationship that was really horrendous and when it ended I felt only relief, but other than that, break-ups are very, very difficult for me to get over. And I do keep the love letters and momentoes as well.

LOL!! Makes me want to clean drains now, just for laughs!

My last ex had borrowed some things of mine and after breaking up, never returned any of it.

I re-bought everything I was missing rather than confront/talk/acknowledge/makeeyecontact/speak to her.

Money well spent.

@Josephine, I know this guy has very deep feelings. I also know he deals with emotional stress by taking action (Scorpio is a Martian sign, after all, and he has loads of Sadge in the mix). That's why I was very reliefed to hear he was at this point with his breakup. It was long time coming, I know his ex-girlfriend too (actually, happened to witness pivotal moments in the beginning of the relationship) and neither of them believed in this. Two deep people (although I think he is more in tune with himself, actually) in a relationship in which neither gets what they truly need. He has been detaching - which he should be able to do, having Venus  and Mars (quite possibly in contact to Moon) in Aquarius - for months now.

But as cleaning drains for emotional relief, can there be anything more Plutonian, really?

I wish my Scorpio Moon ex was like this! As it was I was finding traces of him all over the apartment for nearly 2 years after he left.

I want to stab this thread.

@ kashmiri, I don't think any true Plutonian is uncomfortable about leaving their mark when they leave. I have some Pluto, and made it certain my ex would find all kinds of stuff reminding him of me cleaning up our flat after I had left. Also, not intended, but one of the things I must have left  was a bag of underwear.

I just cleaned my drains today, haha! Get rid of my own bad stomach flu virus energy!
