And, yes, that pun was intentional.  *ducks the thrown fruit*

Over on the Manly Men thread, Midara posted her man, Billy Joe Armstrong of Green Day.  Who, though very awesome, doesn't turn my crank... but I sure would like to sit around, b.s., and drink with the man!  So forget for a second whose pants you'd like to get in (or have get in yours ), and tell me:

What famous people (living, please) would you want to have a beer with?

I'd like to get Christian Bale, Edward Norton, Trent Reznor, James Maynard Keenan, and Gibby Haynes together for shots.  *nodnodnod*  And that's just the tip of the iceberg!

SaDiablo, I would love sit sit and have a delicious micro brew with Edward Norton. My man has a man crush on Christian Bale, so the four of us could have a pow-wow I'm sure. :)

Terrence Stamp! And Stephen Lewis, Shinya Tsukamoto and other well travelled older gentlemen. I figure they've acculumated a lot of awesome stories.

Ooh this is a good one. I'd like to have a beer with Joss Whedon and Alan Tudyk ... well any of the Firefly crew really. And Pink, the singer -- she seems really cool.

I'm gonna have to think about the manly men thread -- usually I am not into macho one bit!

I wouldn't want to eat with 'em but I sure would like to lock Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Jeannine Garofalo and Sean Penn in a room together and sit back and watch what happens.

Katee Sackhoff (aka Starbuck from BSG) because for some reason i think that would be interesting. Hell, most of the BSG cast would be awesome. I then second the Firefly crew, especially Nathan Fillion after watching Castle a bunch and playing Halo 3: ODST (which has Nathan Fillion, Adam Baldwin, and Alan Tudyk for the voices of the main ODSTs).

Oh yes, Jon Stewart and Emma Thompson <3 <3 <3 I would be afraid to open my mouth for fear of lowering the tone of the conversation.

OOOH!  Dave Eggers!  Good choice, alphaxys!  A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius blew me completely away when it came out, too bad I haven't been able to find his other stuff.

Tilda Swinton, especially when she's in this kind of mood:

And then I'll invite this guy, too:

...and then maybe they would get drunk enough to lend me their blazers!

*snert @ kash's lent blazers*  Yes and yes!  Good taste!
I never noticed how much those two can resemble each other.  Very cool, very strange.

    How about...
    The Piven:
    Wanna throw some meat around?

the guys from Broken Lizard:Dance, funny boys! Make me laugh!

    And, of course, Eddie:Leisure suit?

    LOL Elsa

I often say I like my men very masculine and my women very feminine.  Mars conj Venus in Cancer, anyone? *chuckle*

sorry, off topic sorta, but I am still laughing at Every Chance I get.

    Lupa

I say the same thing Shannon!  Venus in Cancer, Mars in Virgo.

I think maybe it's the Gemini male/female thing though really.  (sun,Merc, Jupiter)

I do make exceptions for men like Eddie Izzard though.  Love him!

And Elsa, I laughed out loud when I read your comment.

Shannon, I have the same placement as you.

I also like my women feminine, I like Nigella Lawson: http://l.yimg.com/eb/ymv/us/img/flickr/47/02/003637024702.jpg

Very Venus in C of me: http://estb.msn.com/i/8F/AA998FFB839138A1E0F5B410AE27BB.jpg

But I don't actually like manly men, I tend to like my men rather boyish (a Gemini thing?):

    Hugh Dancy

    Gael Garcia Bernal

    Great picture, haha!

Although recently my Mars in Capricorn in the 12th has been showing through,  I've been only liking the Silver Fox, salt and pepper guys (prematurely graying but 35 or so)Currently I have a crush on a guy at work who looks like Anderson Cooper (!!)

Sorry that was off topic.  But I would like to talk to all of them.  I would also like to talk to Russell Brand, just let him bla bla at me and see if I can get a word in edgewise.
