Other than Mars-Saturn or Mars-Pluto, what other aspects can one consider signatures of cruelty in a chart?

That's a good question. I'm not sure.

Saturn or Pluto in harsh aspect to the Moon.Unemotional and ruthless?

I think there was a chart interpretation here recently.Someone had something of the kind and it was described as ruthless emotions.

Yeah, I can see the aspects to the moon. Definitely.

It's very strange to me, as I know someone with 6 cap planets, pluto conjunct moon in scorpio opposite mars and he's stable, kind and incredibly deep. But who knows how others choose to use their energies. I'm interested in the various ways to channel this positively.

Would Uranus opposition Moon be another, for coldness and instability if not carefully used?

Oh yes, I forgot Uranus.Uranus to the Moon to Pluto and maybe to Mars as well, impulsive and erratic actions that lead to cruelty.

Sometimes I feel like signatures of cruelty is just like playing outer planet bingo.

Jupiter: could be good, but expands whatever it touches

I see a lot of kinds of cruelty. I think the Sun should be looked at. Neptune-Sun can drown out the voice of reason. Sun-Pluto represses it. My mom is Sun-Pluto and she passively ignored her children's abuse.

My Ma was very cruel to me and she had an Aries Moon with Saturn/Pluto Rx exact in Cancer, Mars/Merc exact in Scorpio, and Uranus conj Jupiter in Aqua aspecting almost all her planets, most harshly!

She was pretty cruel to other people too but not my sister - I was the family 'scapegoat'

I have Sun-Pluto and Moon-Pluto (those are the only "bad" aspects in my chart). I am not a cruel person at all, I give people a chance and tend to give the benefit of the doubt, but I also don't take shit. Also, sometimes, these aspects can show where others use power against you, rather than you being a perpetrator, which I think I have heard said before on these boards.

I think cruelty involves Mars - period.  The Sun shines, see?

I think neptune could add the special touch of delusion to certain "hard" aspects to allow a person to be really cruel and vicious. Like BP's ma.  You could just think EVERYTHING is justified

I have both Saturn and Pluto retro - so I wonder if most of my cruelty gets turned inward? I'm not sure. I'm not an actively cruel person - though maybe I sometimes lack sympathy. I have Mars opp. Saturn, Saturn sextile Pluto, Pluto trine Mars. So all those are connected in my chart. I certainly wouldn't say I'm not capable of cruelty but I try to not go there as much as possible. I feel like my Mars-Saturn opposition affect me more than others. I have a lot of trouble with finding my own motivation and trying to work hard, etc.

I can be a cruel bastard and it happens when I feel the only way to get someone to learn is through PAIN. So there's my arrogance that I'm here to teach them a lesson. Then a Pandora's box opens and I realize I'm not fighting the person, I'm fighting some inner demon.

I have Mars-Moon in the 9th, quintile Pluto. Chiron conjunct my Descendant. Saturn in Scorpio conjunct with Pluto in Libra.

Part of me thinks life is chaos, part of me has a death wish and is very spiteful and wants to destroy another according to some divine will.

Sounds like 9th house zealot fanatical territory (Moon-Mars in 9th Leo).

Shit.. well i got a really dominant Mars in Aries opposite Moon and Pluto conjunct. Im not physically violent and tend to shy from confrontation, but have these recurring violent fantasies. I can definitely be cruel emotionally but its like a flash in the pan and usually results from my own insecurities being projected on others. 

I had a really profound dream/vision one time. In the dream i was walking down a deserted street. Someone was walking toward me from the distance and as they got near and passed me i suddenly got the feeling like they were going to stab me in the back. It actually felt like i was both the people; myself and the myself fixing to stab me. I stopped the stabbing somehow and found the knife in my own hand, the shadowy me having disappeared or 'fused' i guess with myself. From the knife i looked up at the sky and there was this gigantic full moon, like literally filling much of the sky and i kind of drifted into it. 

Wonder if that dream has to do with the life lesson based on the Mars opposition to Moon-Pluto.

How about cruel words in addition to the mars-saturn or mars-pluto?

I should have mentioned, Aries and Scorpio = Mars (in my mind).

My grandmother was pretty cruel from what my Mom has described. She was a Pisces Sun, it's only aspect is a square to Pluto-N.Node. Her Cappy Mar-Uranus conj opposed Neptune. Her Gemini Pluto-N.Node conj squares her nVenus in Pisces. She also had an Aqua moon trined Pluto-N.Node. Her Mars-Uranus also squares her Aries Saturn. I don't know her birthtime, but I can see a lot of detachment and illusion.

I have Mars/Uranus/Pluto ... in the first. As does Johnny Depp and Robert Downey Jr.  I suppose like anything, it is important to look at the whole chart of a person before anyone automatically assumes that a person is "cruel".
