I got sent this email this morning from my friend, who is a teacher:

"I just witnessed a grade two boy putting flowers into the arm of a coat belonging to a girl in her locker."

I just thought it was so sweet, I wanted to share:)

My kids like that. It was his intention to waltz with his gf at the school dance but alas he has Saturn conjunct his Sun and she had to leave school early that day to go on vacation for fall break with her family. :(

    How sweet Kashmiri.

My step son is Saturn/Sun.  He speaks wistfully of the little girl he loved who moved away.  He doesn't have her new address so no way to get in touch with her.  So sad to be love lorn at 7.

One of my coworkers told me another sweet story.  Her neighbor is fairly recently widowed - less than a year.  Her 8 year old daughter called all of mom's friends and arranged a surprise birthday party for mom.  I guess she realized there was no one else to do it.

All three of those stories warm my heart. We need more of that, in adults as well.

I had gone to TGIFriday's for lunch -- don't judge :) -- with a coworker. She and I were standing near the hostess station waiting for something, I forget what, and this little boy, about three or four years old, pulled on my pants leg and held up a tatty purple silk flower with an plastic orange stamen. I was a bit nonplussed, but took it from him, said thank you, and then looked quizzically at his mother.

She laughed and said he had been carrying that flower around all morning, saying, I want to give this to a pretty lady, I want to give this to a pretty lady, so evidently he picked you.

There have been times when I've felt kinda bad about myself over the years, but occasionally I remember that a little boy thought I was pretty enough to deserve a purple flower, and it made me feel a little better.

This was about seven years ago. I still have the flower.

"Hey I got your email and that was the cutest shizz I've heard in a long time"

"What I didn't tell you was that he had a hoodie on and it pulled up tight around his face with the strings cinched so you could only see his eyes...he didn't see me but I felt privileged I saw him"

(my friend is an Aquarius Sun/Scorpio Moon and teaches gifted kids from grade 4-7)

I wonder what that kid's Venus is doing..? Enter Venus in Scorpio...

Thank you for all the parents who raise little gents xo
