I've mentioned a few times, I'm working on a new project, or at least trying to. It reminds me of when I moved from my xanga blog to this one, which used to be called "ElsaElsa - The Advice Blog". Remember that?  I had to innovate to make the transition and I am trying to do the same thing now.

Back then, HQ and I worked very hard on coming up with the format for this blog. He's the one with the vision, I am the one who had to manifest the vision.  It was quite difficult though I'd be willing to bet, this wasn't apparent to even one person out there in the public.

So this time, I am working with HQ's brother (they're twins). He has the vision and it's my job to manifest it. It's been several months and quite difficult. Of course my mother died and before that she was dying but in whatever case, after much pounding and molding and stretching and squishing into tight spots, I think I have an angle on how I can get this done so I am going to work on this today.

I am posting this to focus myself.  Whenever I do something like this, my grandfather, Henry's words come to mind:

Letter to Phyllis Sept. 7 1955

"...Get your courage up for I am coming over to take you to a seance..."

On the storytelling bit here, it's what I realized a few days ago. That is, I am pretty sure I am a natural storyteller, so if I fall back on those roots, I should be able to get this done and maybe even cruise through it and enjoy myself.  Wouldn't that be grand?

Absolutely grand!  Can't wait to hear more about the project!  Love Henry's quote too btw.

Yes, I have to become determined.  Uhhhhhhhhhh. You'd think this would be easy for me at this point but it's not.  I have so many things on my mind, I just don't want to go into a tube, lol.

I can't stop thinking about the dancer from Cambodia. I haven't related to someone so much in a long time.

I did my work today.  I got it done. It's not finished but I moved it along and I'm improving.

Thanks Elsa.  I'm really going out on a limb, since I have no idea how to plant a garden, beyond the one tomato plant I grew in a pot on my deck last year.  The resources are coming out of the woodwork though and I think we can actually pull it off! ;-)

Glad your project is moving forward... the journey's half the fun, right?! ;-)
