Okay, guys, I know that synastry and composite charts are both important and say different things about a relationship, but how much weight do you lend to each?

I've been seeing SuperScorp since about May and things are ... interesting.  I can definitely see the long-term potential, but I'm just not sure I want it; there was a point a few months ago when I could have seriously let myself love this guy, but fought it for various reasons, and now it's just kind of simmering in the background, popping up now and again.  Plus, after noticing more than a couple of similarities between this guy and my ex, I'm wondering how much of this is a "piss off Daddy" (i.e. the ex) game v. how much is just me going for my type.  And to boot, our synastry is a complete and utter train wreck but the composite is rather rosy.  What to do, what to do... hrm...

I can't post the charts since I'm at work, but I'll try after I get home later.  For now, let's be philosphical about it all.   Whatcha thinkin', huh?
