Thinking about how during a transit there can be a few passes because of the retrograde, I wonder how do you experience this? Does each pass get more intense to you? In my personal experience with conjunctions and oppostions yes. Do you feel the retrograde pass in a more interior way? I do.

Also with Mercury transits, I notice in my chart they usually happen one day earlier than exact and Venus one day later. Have you ever noticed any patterns like this?

I think by far the most intense is when the aspect is applying and that the effect fade quickly once the exact aspect has passed.

I am having a square transit that is going retrograde and it's definitely more intense than the first time it passed.  And now I'm waiting to see how it will be when it turns direct again.  I hadn't been on the lookout for this before, but was actually just thinking about it, so thanks for positing the topic!

Whoa, Dolce, a Pluto square transit, that's tough! I just finished my Pluto transit because I'm a Sagittarius and the past 5 years have been tough! 2009 was actually the first good year for me in a while.

Hey Toni, it's actually Saturn, although Pluto's set to hit my moon soon enough!  There are some other doozies (sp?) headed my way as well, but I suppose there always are, aren't there?  I'm glad this year is lighter for you, and I'm sure you've got great new perspective!

I've noticed I tend to feel things the most-- actually, scratch that -- things happen when the transit is separating.

I get a little nervous as it is applying and then when it is exact it's kind of a calm before the storm, but as it moves away? Bam! I get it- . Not sure why this is and I am guessing it is different for everyone. It certainly wld be interesting to track. Paying attention to how transits affect us will allow us to help others better, even if their experience is somewhat different . Oh man maybe I am beginning to own my pisces north node....
