The last time Saturn was in Scorpio a hugely important and life-altering event happened to my family. I feel like the lessons of the last time are going to come back and repeat themselves for certain family members.

I fear my father, especially, is going to have a very tough time with Saturn through Scorpio and Sag. I don't think he really integrated what happened to him and I think he's going to have to this time.

During the event I was just a little kid but I actually ended being the one to listen and support him through the whole crisis. So for me, it was actually a powerfully transformative period and an introduction into the kinds of issues I'd have to deal with for the rest of my life -- energy exchange and leadership things -- 8th house Aries to the max.

I'm intrigued by and nervous about what might come of all of this stuff this time around.

My partner is experiencing the Saturn Return of his mother sending him away. He has had to make up for a lot of lost time but is doing well. This month he will be taking care of her for a couple of weeks post-op.

Kash, that must be intense for him. It's great that they can heal that.

It is really intense, and yes, very healing. To give you an idea of how far apart they were even two years ago, she had another operation then and didn't even tell him it was happening. We had a long chat last night about the circumstances of him being sent away (his now dead stepfather convinced her). It came up because we were talking about a friend's circumstances and he said 'loneliness can be a dangerous thing.'

Amazing.

It must have been so hard for her to even deal with the fact that she had done that to him. I think many people wouldn't even be able to manage healing a rift like that because it would be so painful to access the part of themselves that sent a child away in the first place.

Absolutely...We spent Christmas with her and watching the two of them together was something else! His Sun in Leo is conjunct her Pluto and her Sun in Virgo is conjunct his Pluto. 1 degree orbs, if I remember correctly. They...fight. LOL

I have some experience with my saturn "return" crossing my ascendant.  First time around I had this weird thing where I so so so wanted to move to germany

28 or so years later, I finally moved to germany

erm...yeah.  But better late than never!

I have been wanting to review my life a bit more in terms of saturn points through life, as based on elsa's articles I could sense this pattern even in less dramatic ways, but I have not gone through it in detail yet.

But I am already a believer.  No doubt in my mind.
