Well I'm supposed to be meeting up with a guy I met with speedating on the 8th - one of those, he's away, I'm away and finally in same place at the same time.  Should be...ummm...interesting!  Hopefully it's fun!

Oh wow. On 7th I'm supposed to be attending a book publishing party where most of the people I'll meet are folk who I haven't seen since I was probably 8. I'm predicting an interesting gathering. Whether good interesting or bad interesting, I don't know or mind.

oh ye gods, I'm attending a wedding on the 7th!  Not one I'm terribly optimistic about to start with either.  This should prove interesting

I know someone who got married August 7 also! Oh goodness...

 And another manifestation: two days before the exact opposition, I had an extremely unexpected opportunity... and I took it... and from that came a surprising romantic encounter! Like a lightning bolt, there and gone, leaving its mark. Both our Venus' square the Venus in the sky at the time, activating everything else in the sky and in our lives, especially since we both have Venus Pluto. And another unexpected event yesterday... oh boy, the punches just keep rolling, hehe. 

Wow, my birthday was on the 6th and I had no idea...is that why the party lasted a whole week?  (Only half kidding when I ask that.)

 I don't know a lot about astrology but I've always found it fascinating and I must admit that grand cross looks pretty powerful.  Hmm...I'm really curious about how this effects my chart and all of yours differently. I'm sure I'll have some learning to do before I understand this subject to the degree most of you do though. To me you all seem like experts and I'm fighting the urge to tell you all about what I know about non-astrology subjects just to make myself feel better (I do know that is somewhat a Leo trait, right?- ha!!) 

Sweet mother of all things decent and holy . . . that's a hell of a thing right there.

Exactly one year ago, on August 7th, I met up with old friend from 30 years ago. We had emailed during april 2010 which I believe was merc retro that month. Anyway, that was a kindred spirit thing which crashed and burned beginning October 2010.

Really wish I had done two things this time last year - Listened to my gut instincts, AND been reading this blog back then!!!

So Shannon, you've answered some questions for me I think. It truly was doomed.
