How can the Venus-Pluto square in 10 minutes NOT affect me?  Venus-Pluto always affects me!  That Venus retrograde in Aries crap this spring was horrid.

I get paranoid as a rule (Mercury-Pluto) but I'm telling you, if something doesn't happen to upset me in the next few hours, you can shut my mouth and paint me red.  I'll be a pretty happy camper, though.

Any encouraging astrology comments about how I must have learned to effectively assimilate, harness, and channel Venus-Pluto energy already this year are certainly welcome.

I learned how to orgasm when Pluto in Sag was trine Venus. That was drama of the best order.

Oh, is THAT how to channel the energy?  Aha.

sorry, I missed the question in your post! I just recently figured out some Venus-Pluto patterns in my life (I have an opposition natally) and they're quite crazy. Basically I figured out when other transits were using an ephemeris and back-tracked.

Knowing I accomplished that on the love-sex front in the past, helped me feel more hopefully when my long-term partner and I split up some months ago...when Pluto in Capricorn was starting to square my Venus.

Maybe you can search your love archives for "more harmonious" Venus-Pluto transits?

There's always an intensity around women in my world. Today my younger sister got lost driving the 50 miles or so to her hotel from the airport in Crete, Greece, and I was googlemapping her route and texting it bit by bit to her..trying to find the right landmarks etc, all the while time ticking away on a work deadline, but she got there and so did I..whew! trouble is she's off back to the airport now to collect our cousin!!

Feeling the approach of my pluto square i thought i'd made a decent decision to commit to being close to family.. but really (or also?) with pluto in my 3rd i've been committing to professional communication.. ie networking (gah.. hard for my cause i'd rather talk to ppl i like (pluto libra in 12th, mercury in scorpio and gemini ruling the 8th)). Just before venus squared pluto someone found me online for a job possiblity (short term contract) back in toronto. Went for the interview. Came back and sent a thank you card - first time doing that - part of pluto in cap and now adding some libra politeness - hoping it helps and is the right use of the energy! Would rather go get laid though. The tension though gave me a migraine so couldn't call the guy i have my eye on *sigh*. I found before while dating when venus went near pluto i'd get laid :P. Might have sabotaged it due to insecurity about the past reappearing. I emailed him but no response.

Take heart in the fact that Venus will keep moving...

Venus-pluto by transit does make me feel pretty edgy in the romantic department. Awareness helps... and then the faster planet scoots along.

Well, I got that square natally so tend to ride it out.  Never noticed anything rising out of a trash can though, or a dirty grave.  Maybe only in my mind!

Ok get this!.. I just got an email from a social group i was involved in.. it was the one i went to where i met my ex - the older man. Last march they did a bowling evening and it was our last social night together. I remember wanting to be single if we weren't moving forward together because there were some cute guys there. Planets where in aries and pisces i'm sure. A few weeks later he broke up with me. The email is about redoing the same bowling night!! On Nov 14th!! So I checked the astrology for the 14th and saturn is at 1 degree libra squaring pluto at 1 degree capricorn! And venus will be in scorpio on my mercury - which ties in pluto which is in my 3rd house. So maybe I'll really "know" if my decision was the right one.. OR.. it's an opportunity to manifest in reality the past ghosts that have come back to life with the venus/pluto square. FREAKY! 

And if I get this job contract then I'll be back in my old city with this redo. Dundundun.. I should know by tomorrow/early next week if I get the job. Can't help but think that i will with the addition of the thank you card i sent today. 

OH And I got a telemarketing call.. but get this.. before they used to say I had "won" a "free" vacation.. (which my mercury in scorpio always hated since you always had to pay something which is NOT free) now they actually said straight up that they were offering a discounted weekend package. No more lying! They still had the structure of the telemarketing call but with a lot more politeness and when i said i'd need to think about it for a week they scheduled to recall rather than pressure sales.. although they  also asked for my name "to be polite". :O I was shocked. Almost went for it but the reality is i still don't have the money lol. Definitely appreciate the politeness. :)

Just had a blind date with someone that according to astrology i'd be compatible with. It fell flat. I realize i'm still strongly in love with the ex.. the impossible crazy older man who ate food off my plate on the 2nd date and would order 2 different glasses of wine at dinner so we could have both, and would spend what he had on me even if he secretly was going bankrupt. Really balled about it (in the car on the drive home).

It has occurred to me to ask him if he'd be opposed to being with me if i decided to have kids through a sperm donor or something else down the line. I mean asking him if he wants kids is one thing, asking him if he'd stop me from having them is another. I know he's open enough to sharing me with another man so really it's just me wanting life to fit into a white picket fence. sigh.

It's like telling people i regret selling the house and having them tell me not to. I do. I wish fear wouldn't grip hold of me so tightly sometimes.

I have a  feeling that your disappointment is going to be history before you know it, and I think you'll do a lot more reconnecting, somehow, and I think that maybe some helpful travel IS  ahead for you, but not that con merchant stuff..( I get so pissed with telemarketers..I often hand the phone to my two year old grandkiddie..who is happy to chat for hours ; ) )

I had a good weekend with some friends who helped give me perspective. They are 8th house types who reflected back to me my energy as I expressed every thought and feeling. How I expand and then contract out of fear.. and the contracting is returning to the past or forcing the future. So I'm going to chill out and just go be social. One thing I did learn is that i need to be compelled towards a man - so it's something that can't be calculated and conjured. And I need to be able to communicate with them about myself. I'll be joining a new social group here and blocking the emails from the past one. Hope to make new friends and continue to move forward.
