Go figure, my latest and greatest "interest" has this combo but with a Virgo sun. I can definitely see the classic Virgo worrisome/analysis going on but I also see the depth and passion in him that Scorpio has. Not to mention he's a very magnetic type of guy but who has a bit of nervousness in him...

So does anyone have any experience with both the Venus & Mars in Scorpio? Any thoughts on it?

Guess it depends on your definition of "intense" (a slight peeve of mine; I think it's over-used and the meaning's become diluted, like "awesome").  *smiles*  Scorp Mars, Scorp Venus, or both, especially if conjunct, are my comfort zone.  I'll roll around in that catnip all. damned. day.

Funny story. My friend is a Venus/mars cancer, but the dude she recently dumped was a Venus Scorpion/Saggitarian Mars. The guy is my ex-friend's crush and he fell in love at first sight with my venus cancer friend, so he got her number and started to text her at 5 AM.

Things were going great and I liked how my friend was feeling really happy until she told me how intense he was at texting and never stopped talking to her to the point of mentioning marriage. Like hello? They're only 20 and she has a full life ahead of her before starting a family. I understand how he loved her, but are Venus scorpions aware of how selfish they sound without hearing their significant other's opinions? He literally pursued her like a total stalker, even dropping hints about him proposing to her. She felt extremely bothered and dumped him to be fair. Too bad, he's not taking this as a time-out - he's still chasing her.

Venus in Aries and Scorpios are detriments and the reason may be because they're solely occupied with their feelings rather than sincere, mutual love and respect? No matter how much he loves my friend, he's being greedy and unfair to her.
