I recently had the revelation that there needs to be a "no kids allowed" room in the house. I have taken over the office/library/whatever-the-eff-you-wanna-call-it/computer-den. It is now OFF LIMITS to people with small sticky hands.

This room is to be the new sanctuary. Ahhhh. But it needs serious re-arranging.  I am forming my attack plan now.

Please send good feng shui vibes and motivation this way. I have Uranus and Neptune in the fourth so my ideal environment is a futuristic sacred space. Think techno shrine.

We weren't allowed in my parents' bedroom as kids. Unless we asked. And then we needed to say why. We could go in if we were scared at night but had to knock as my dad sleeps in the buff, LOL.

yes, kids and grandkids are not allowed in my bedroom, unless invited in.  Makes for some great talks   :-)  For some reason, they spill when let into the sacred space.

That sounds lovely! This helps me understand my Virgo Mars husband. He loses his mind when our kids spill liquids anywhere and he thinks he should be allowed to purchase a computer that's only for his use so no one else can use it lol Our singular/family laptop is filthy, cruddy, and missing the letter G LOL It's pretty stupid. I don't LIKE it, but since it still works, I'm like meh...still works :/ He seems viscerally bothered by it though.

Yeah, my parents had the "no kids in the bedroom" rule, too.  It's also where Dad kept the gun cabinet, so there was a safety factor goin' on as well...  :)  Niecelings aren't allowed in my bedroom, either, unless invited.  Definitely some non-kid-friendly things in there (even if not exactly on display).

I'm seeing a bright, white space with lots of shiny, clean lines for the techno shrine.  :)
