er, I don't know. I think you can check all that stuff. I think. I flew two years ago and checked that stuff. I really had to comment here cos the title of the thread TOTALLY sparked a Snakes On A Plane, Samuel L. Jackson moment: motherf***ing venus on a plane!
I think you can carry the "bird food" on. I think you can carry the liquid herbal remedies (rescue remedy?) on if they're under three ounces (?) and in a baggie.
satori-- LMAO
Nobody ever bugs me about my razor or my tweezers. Just have all your liquids (in their assorted bottles) inside a 1-qt ziploc baggie. None of the rest of it will be a problem carrying on. Just make sure your carry-on bag isn't too huge because they are pretty tough these days about making you check it if it doesn't fit in the slot. Oh, and only ONE carry-on suitcase and ONE personal item (purse) - even if the items are small, they care more about the number than the size. For instance, I have had to stuff my purse into my laptop bag just to make the cut. :-/
Safe travels!
you can take what you want as long as it isn't carry-on.
depends on the airport you are flying from/to.
i just went to butt-fuck nowhere airport and put some stuff in a baggie (they ask you to take the baggie out and put it in the bin). i realized after the fact that i didn't put my deodorant in the bag and it was 150mL (over the allowed limit) and it was passed over. the woman next to me had her jug of iced tea which obviously wasn't allowed but they don't care. the town is small enough they all know each other anyway!
so yeah, you can bring
vitamins
nuts+berries
my roommate just took her razor and tweezers on carry-on and they didn't stopher...? you like gambling? (ha ha just a virgo joke!) then take whatever. just don't get too attached to it, in case it's taken away.
Tweezers and razors and anything sharpish go in your travel bag that you leave at the check in. Depending on the airline you're using, you'll have a limit as to how much weight you can carry around. Anything over that and you'll have to pay for the addition weight and it's usually not cheap.
Bags that you take on the plane yourself are a different matter. Any liquids must be contained in a plastic bag and you can't exceed 1.5dcl of total liquid at the scanning process.
Depending on the size of the airport, you'll usually have shops after all the check in and scanning and you can buy additional liquids/foods etc. Usually these shops sell "flight safe" merchendise.
I was raised by a Gemini... take nothing, buy new shit when you get there.
Thanks everyone for your kind responses! Yes, Satori... Snakes on a Plane was on the brain!
I guess I could fedex some of that crap to my destination...

All right, call me anal but I'm taking a trip soon and fretting over what I can and cannot bring on the flight with me.
Am I going to be able to bring my tweezers!? I can't live without those. Must pluck EVERY DAY.
What about my liquid herbal remedies that I use to lower my blood pressure the natural way??
What about my trusty razor - so I can be seen out and about without looking like Lady Sasquatch?
What about my bag of nuts and seeds - my bird food, so I don't have a blood sugar crash while traveling?
My sheets, washed in nonscented laundry detergent? ;)
My vitamins!!??
Can I put any of that stuff in my luggage and check the bag?
I hate baggage claim. But they won't let me carry that stuff in the overhead, will they.
