....tranformation (with pluto on cappy). I mean slowly each sector is getting an overhaul. There was the air industry (air), also the banking industry (earth), as well as the auto industry (fire). I've missed some, and am not thinking of a water overhaul, but you get the point,

Entitlement is close to what I was thinking, Shannon.
Most people think their own needs (which they readily confuse with their inclinations) should trump all other considerations, inc the needs of their children
- the age of Self-Interest, of Self-Absorbtion, maybe?
Reckoning?
Actually, no real Space Age can exist without space travel. So far, our puny attempts have been the equivalent of space tripping or dipping.
I like Shannon's response, Entitlement Age.
I was thinking this: Media Manipulation.
BTW, I have a friend who is an ex-fighter pilot and now works for the govt (booo??) developing partnerships with business re commercial flight to space. She says it's an exciting time for us humans, but most are too cynical to notice. Which is why I wrote cynicism, lol.
I still think many of these suggestions are just fancy ways of saying "Reckoning".
I would agree: entitlement.
regarding the space age....
I have never had a tremendous feeling of patriotism...always felt lucky to be american, for sure, but we're not as perfect as we'd pretend to be, etc...it's hard for me to feel truly patriotic for a variety of reasons.
anyway, I went to the deutsches museum in Munich (that's the short version...the full version is something like "the german museum of technological marvels and feats of engineering perfection" - all summed up in one word that takes 50 letters to spell, of course ;) They have a *huge* exhibit about space travel. They had a section devoted to WWII German rocket technology that paved the way for future development (it did. sucky to say, but the nazis developed some really key engineering). But then, they also had an impressive exhibit that tracked the Russian and American space race...with capsules and artifacts...space suits...etc..culiminating with a model of the space shuttle. American flags and miracles and joy.
I was practically in tears by the end of it. I had stars and stripes bursting from my heart. I am SO PROUD of America's space programs! I feel like at least in that mission, we were truly and *inarguably* great, outstanding and justifiably, objectively, and RIGHTEOUSLY, unbeatable.
I'm so so sad it's over.
Age of the Citizen Revolt!!
Tea Party , Arab Spring , Internet , Facebook / Myspace....
I see the energy of Aquarius working to get the average person involved. This Blog / Board is a great example of people from all around the world getting together to discuss things. Even if they don't type "English" very well.... they are understood.
Age of Polarization
hope it's over though and we can enter an Age of Cooperation
When does the Age of Aquarius start? Are we still ion the Age of Pisces?
I think the Space Age is just taking a hiatis. Ages of this type overlap. In the future we as a species will have to revisit Space again.
Welcome to he Age of Plants. Can you feel it?
