I am SO happy with my new roommate. Not only does she have a 5 planet stellium in Gemini in her 5th House (inc. Sun and Moon!)

she is....a CAPRICORN RISING!

yay yay yay! and her Scorpio Mars opposes my Taurus Sun to the exact degree...she loves my energy as much as I love hers and it is such a RELIEF! 

I went to the gym today, first time in about 2 months. I have been walking pretty steady but still. That gym has been my home and my sanctuary for years and it was sure good to be back. I have been gone so long, I am damned near "new blood" in the place. Uh oh!

Having a good roomate is a HUGE HUGE deal. Home environment is everything.

I had a horrible experience before my current one (who I complain about at times but he's good, esp compared to Satan herself, who I lived with before. Really. I lived with Satan ;)

I am sad today (PMS and well, just kinda sad) but relaxing. Under the weather, lying in bed, fresh sheets, weather not too humid, writing (thank god), listening to the newport folk festival on the radio. And I have Rice Dream. As far as being single goes (ugh) it's a perfect day--

I'm happy that I have a loving supportive family. I'm happy that they are healthy. I'm happy to be healthy and to be able to care for them. And I'm happy I'm going rollerblading today.

I am happy -

a)I have chopped garlic smell on my hands. MMMmmmmmm!!!  Loving coming from the oven!

b)the bills all got paid today online!  YEAH ME!

c)husband hadn't charged anything more than gas this month!  YEAH Husband!!!

d)son1 is such a great kid!!  Always helpful, never a problem.  In the kitchen right now setting the table for tonights meal.

e)son2 hasn't called with more drama llama problems today!  YEAH him!!!  I am thrilled when he doesn't drag me in the middle of whatever new crisis he has cooking, and there is ALWAYS a new crisis. 

f)my dog let me lay on the couch with her today and just chill.  She's son2's dog - he doesn't live at home anymore, and she's now mostly husband's dog, but ocassionally she'll let me get close.  I can never tell what day I'll be allowed more than a few minutes of petting.  Almost catlike in her affections.  My little dog died last month and I'm crying less about her lately.  That's good.

g)I balanced four accounts today.  Always a great feeling when the numbers match up!!  I get off on making my little calculator zing hotly along and get great satisfaction after a long day of number crunching to have the accounts balance out and get to rip off the little paper tape and wad it up and toss it in the trash - so satisfying!!! (I know, I'm a dork.)

h)Today I made the last of my 2009 Roth IRA contributions.  This feels goooooood!!!

i)Husband FINALLY got my hole in the wall (plumbing repair inside the walls 2 years ago!) fixed and painted.

j)He also patched another small hole from having two teenage sons duking it out and making a small boo-boo about a year ago.  Yeah, Yeah, YEAH husband!!!

k)The squirrel came and ate my poor soy-bean offering this morning. (all I had that was fit to feed a squirrel that I was willing to part with!)

l)There is still some cash on an old gift debit card I found while cleaning out the wallet today!  $10.34.  I'll take it!

m)My file cabinet has more room today as I shredded old papers!!  (Whatever's happening with the Virgo tidying stuff in the sky?  I LIKE IT!!!)

n)There are chocolate peanut butter coconut layer bars in the frig for dessert tonight.

o)I am thrilled my parents are both still alive and doing fairly well.

p)The yard is all mowed and weed-eated and it looks like a park out there!!  Tis good.

q)I have my health.  Whomever the heck ran off with my girlish figure will be hunted down & shot though!

r)I love my little family unit.  We aren't big socializers, but we all really like to be together.

s)I found enough paint in the basement to touch up every thing in the house without buying any more paint.

t)The Disabled Veterans came this morning and hauled off a bunch of 'good stuff'.

u)I have extra tomatoes to share with my friend Margaret.

v)I love my twinkle lights in the sunroom.  They make me happy.

w)I love the smell of clove coming from my environment (shampoo, mouthwash, candles, drawer potpourri, etc.) 

x)I'm grateful for the beautiful weather outside.

y)Squeezed a squint at our investments today and am glad to know the new Pres & Wall Street has not left us totally bleeding in the streets.  We may be able to have cornbread w/our beans during retirement after all!!

I will totally agree with cosmickisses...Transit Saturn conjucted my natal Venus and that taught me to appreciate my family and especially my husband even more...I'm 11 years with my husband and now I feel in love with him...I know it sounds crazy :)...I married him because I was feeling safe and knew that i could trust him...Now I'm experiencing the passion...not that kind of obsessive passion that blinds you but something deeper...

Every day I'm praying for my husband and 2 daughters to be healthy, for having love between us,  for living many years, for being a good mother, for our little business to go better, for feeling as happy as I feel now for the next years...

Last year on this day I could only walk as far as the mailbox. This year I can do anything I want to! Your health is your wealth.

I'm happy to be alive, with a lot of possibilities to choose from.

I'm happy that Saturn's on my Ascendant. Last pass. I for one welcome my new Saturn overlord. (might as well, right?)

I'm happy to be happy. I don't think of it as a goal but more of a side effect.  

I am happy because I saw a good movie, well at least to me it was good. The movie was 'Funny People' with Adam Sandler. My nephew did not like it because he was expecting something like 'Superbad'.

I had two weird medical situations go on recently. Everything is fine but it freaked me out. Yeah, the health thing. Virgo mooooooooooooooon :)

clean sheets are the BEST. my cousin in scotland irons her--she is a Virgo can you tell? 

moonpluto her Scorpio mars is in her 10th house, conjunct Saturn. hey I guess that means her Saturn opposes my Sun, too. I know lots of people find oppositions tough but I find they can be totally amazing for providing tools for growth, if you're up for it. I'm usually up for it:) 

She is 7 years younger than me. I love Geminis (natal Jup in Gem)...I make her laugh, which makes me happy.

Dreams that was a good list! makes me want to buy clove cigarettes, though! clove is such a lovely smell.

Ohhhh, my Mom & I went to see "My Sister's Keeper" last night.  We both really enjoyed it but today I find myself wondering what kind (astrologically speaking) of  sister sets her other sister up to be the fall guy like that?????????  Why didn't she stand up her ownself???????? (trying not to be a spoiler but, yeah, who does that????)

I prefer a life without oppositions :) too bad for me, huh?

I am happy about homemade lemon custard ice cream, yum.

Today I am grumpy overall but it's my own fault and I can do better tomorrow (I need to pay my bills and eat better).  I was happy because I got an adorable call from my son who is on vacation with his dad.  He is 3 and he told me "you can also call a flue an aqueduct."(whatever that means.)

Today I feel happy that I put out a bunch of garden veggies in a basket, and some people came by, took some, and left me some spare change! Thanks, neighbors... glad to feed you.

I'm happy to have my dogs. I feel overwhelming love for them, with their dear little doggy faces and their waggly tails.

I'm happy to have found ElsaElsa.com and the kind and generous people who hang here... and am already coming to terms with my newfound addiction. ;)

I feel happy that I have work this week, but not too much. The freelance lifestyle can be feast or famine, but lately it's just a good, steady flow.

I'm happy that I know how to design websites, and was able to master it "on the fly" thanks to the generous advice of so many goodhearted online folks. 

Happy I made it to the lake today for a quick dip.

Happy to be getting good sex regularly these days. Ha.
