What do you think of this? Boy cross dresses and school forbids it!
posted 1 month ago in General
Cobb County has a history of being incredibly homophobic. That boy sounds pretty over the top but if ever a group of officials needed someone to come in and shake them up dramatically...
I understand that this is distracting from the official agenda of the school, but there is more learned in school that that which is taught from books and not all of the lessons are for the students. Good for him.
Over the top? Maybe, but I still love a man in a skirt and eyeliner! Pink wig... mebbe not so much. ![]()
Wore a tux to my senior prom, caused a stir in my lil' town. The funny thing was, the day I went to rent it, the guy getting his tux next to me was going to wear a kilt. Fab-UUU-lous! Two weirdos in the formal shop, they handled it with aplomb.
As long as the guy isn't getting beat up everyday, let him wear what he wants. It's likely more disturbing to the adults, anyway.
If the adults weren't disturbed and overreacting there would not be an article about it. If they had calmly said the makeup is a little weird but the wigs and hats violate our dress code so stick with some nice pink lip gloss and it will all be fine it would not be an issue or at least not one worthy of press. How about just enforcing the rules and punishing the kids that want to beat up the weird kids.
Cool about your prom SaDiablo!
