Hey everyone, did I miss something? Is it just me or is the AstroDispatch down? I don't see it anymore.

what error are you getting? Can you send a screen shot and the browser you are using?

Did you try to reload?

I don't see it either..not on your home page. and i thought there was a link in the top bar, where transit watch et al are?? there isn't a hint of it anywhere on elsaelsa.

you can just type astrodispatch into the address bar (dot com).  I think the widget went down yesterday or the day before.  I don't know, that's just my observation since it stopped popping up on my blog.  the button on the top bar has been gone for a while, maybe since the transit watch one went up?

Oh! I thought you meant the site was down. There is no tab on this page. You can get there by the module on the blog that shows the headlines.

I still don't see the widget - in Firefox or IE

I know, there is nothing we can do. The problem is with the widget not this site.

It goes down from time to time and may go down forever. In the past when we have tried to replace it. it caused all kinds of problems... I am afraid the lousy, unreliable widget is the best available. This is due the internet just being less and less "free". By that I mean, I was told the widget site was going out of biz 9 months ago so every time it goes down I think this is what has happened and then it comes back up.

In whatever case, it is maintained off this site so we just have to wait.

Wasn't there a notice some months back that the company who does those widgets was going to stop supporting them?  Not to rain on anyone's parade or anything :-(  When it went down, I just assumed it had.

Not much time but here is a tip.

Get to AstroDispatch however you can then BOOKMARK it in your browser.

Bookmark specific pages in forums, lists, groups, that you want to go back to and you won't have to spend time searching for them later.

And I like being one of the few roosters in the henhouse. Unfortunately, can never stay too long most of the time.
