General Tso's Chicken. I just learned ho to cook it from a Chinese cookbook
I just discovered kelp noodles!!!!! U can use them in anything u would normally make with noodles. They don't have any taste really, but the texture is more crunchy/gelatiny and they naturally have lots of vitamins, minerals, iodine and no carbs, gluten or fat.
I've been making a homemade Thai peanut sauce with them or alfredo:+)
I made GF shortbread cookies almost entirely from scratch last night. Then spooned melted semi-sweet chocolate on top of each one just because I could. *preen*
And....brown jasmine rice in chicken broth and butter has been a recent element in my kitchen lately. Also pan friend salmon fillets with a lemon butter olive oil garlic sauce on the side.

For the last few weeks I've been checking the grocery sales flyer and then look to Pinterest for dishes using what is on sale and then make my grocery list. It's been fun and I've discovered some really great recipes!
Last night I made chicken breasts wrapped in bacon with a creamy garlic sauce cooked in my crockpot for several hours. yummmm
Radish Sandwiches. Ezekeil Sprouted Bread, with Saffolower Mayonaise, Radishes cut thinly, slice of tomato and some healthy spinach lettuce. Bread toasted. I am growing some radishes indoors and they are super easy to grow. I just didn't know what to do with them except throw them in a salad. So I made this! It is zoo good! If you like radishes..
Lamb chop.
Didn't know what to do with it, but had read that rosemary goes well with it. So I wrapped the broiler pan from my toaster oven in aluminium foil, brushed my lamb chop with olive oil, rubbed rosemary on it, a little dash of salt and pepper and laid it on the broiler pan. Then I broiled it for about 10 minutes. Yes, I made lamb chop in the toaster oven! LOL
Came out great. It was like pot roast in the form of a pork chop. Very juicy and tender.

Been cooking anything good lately, anyone? I am feeling so blah about food. Some inspiration for winter type foods (i.e. cooked and warm) would be nice if you got 'em!
