I see from the transit calendar http://www.elsaelsa.com/transit-watch-astrology-calendar/ that Merc is going to go retrograde soon.

I've found Merc Rx good for revising / editing stuff that I had already written and had been letting sit around getting seasoned. :)

Jilly, Mercury retrogrades don't affect me as much because I have Jupiter in the 3rd house. But then again, I'm not a professional astrologer so I might be wrong.

But I find it a good time for introspection, as you say revising/editing,  and double checking my motives ... well and everything really.

Mercury retrograde is a great time to make a big decision or buy something

when it conjuncts the sun. It's helpful to have a positive moon aspect too.

At what degree will it retrograde? How far into libra. It will R in my 2nd house. Hoping this means clients from the past will show up! Rather than losing income...............

Mercury Rx is good for unfinished business. 

I always heard it is best not to make major purchases, start a new job or do anything life altering during a mercury retro. 

It is good for planning, de cluttering, cleaning out the closet, weeding out the unnecessary and revising stuff you're already working on.  

Obama's inaguration was during a Merc retro and you see what kind of footing he got off to.

I've noticed the phone rings less during a Merc. retro. Not even telemarketers.

I just lay low and busy myself with getting my life organized and planning things I love to do.

Communications don't flow smoothly and lots of miscommunications.

Keep your communications crystal clear,concise and simple. If you think someone isn't getting it then ask for feedback and provide clarification.  

good old mercury rx. showed up at my new university without a clue where my classes were as the website had crashed...finally got a clue, to find that the buildings were on security pass and of course i don't have one, being a new student...went to get a pass but i was an hour early. then i was a half hour late for my class.

mercury Rx is good because it reminds me that i'm human and that technology is laughably susceptible to being bunged up, much like humans. 

It's good because it encourages us to chew on our choices before putting them into action. It's a reason NOT to be impulsive and NOT to rush right out and do things without giving them consideration.

It gives me pause, anyway, where there usually is only impetuous behavior.

The only thiong ive ever noticed aboiut a mercury RX isa I can't type good.
