When people click the Amazon ad (small square on the right margin of the blog, next to the tip jar) to access the site to shop, I get a 6-6.5% commission on whatever they buy. It is a constant challenge to pay the bills here and this money goes towards paying the hosting of the this blog and the Astro Dispatch.

Every time I buy from Amazon I use your Amazon link but I never see any of the stuff that I have bought on your lists.. I'm not sure that it is working for those of us outside of the US.

I've seen things I've ordered through the Canadian site show up here.  Pretty sure Elsa doesn't post absolutely everything that goes through.

Oh yay!  I was worried you didn't get the percentage...

should be here by Monday.  I swear, the filler cost more than the bean bag, lol...maybe that's why it was up at the Goodwill.  The kids and pets like it, though, it's one of those gamer bean bag hershey kiss looking things.

I know Elsa doesn't post everything Korellyn, but I have bought such a lot of stuff that given the sheer volume of purchases the odds of at least one thing showing up on her lists are pretty high.

I always get nervous, too. Esp if it's a bigger ticket item...there are some 'fiddly' rules about what counts and what voids the commission. Nothing too egriegous--mostly the program seems to provide the mutual benefit it claims, I think.

Still, I'm a suspicious dork...I'm all--"Hey! I coulda saved a nickle on a different site, Amazon--you better be payin' Mz Elsa, yo?!"

I don't think I've ever seen my purchases here. Sometimes I put stuff in my cart, then go on ElsaElsa, click the link, and go straight to Checkout. I hope doing it this way doesn't disqualify your commission.

dorchid, if the stuff is already in the cart, it will not pay commission.  You have to click from the blog and then shop.  The idea is that an ad on the blog led to a sale for Amazon.

I love this stuff, I've got a good eye for things, and I have plenty of patience to go over things with a fine-tooth comb.
