    (Neptune in the fourth)

First thing I thought of was quiet. I need silent surroundings. No noisy neighbors/loud music. A couple good trees that I can see from my bed. Maybe country-ish environment but close to city. I never think about colors... Basically simple and would be nice if I owned it. Maybe a small house. Apt okay too. This is starting to sound like a personal ad....

And room for 2-3 dogs and a few cats. Decent-sized dogs. Yeah, when I think of home I think about who is in it. Would like to win the lottery so all my friends (who want to) could come live with me. So maybe I need a big house after all. Okay I got it now. I'd like to live on/run a cage-free animal sanctuary for dogs and cats.

4th house(and 10th) are empty. Sag on 4th house cusp. My virgo planets (moon and pluto) will square whatever transiting planets march thru the 4th...

Beach Mansion (maybe in Costa Rica or Australia...). I dream big with Leo on the 4th, and I want to be by the ocean with the 4th house ruler Sun in Pisces.

Despite being a Taurus (nester) I don't ever want to find my dream home. I would never leave the house. I don't even want to think about my dream home. As long as it is infinitely far off, inaccessible, I have something to live for.

    And now, a musical interlude.

In Every Dream Home A Heartache

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPmMveU0dmc

In every dream home a heartache

    And every step I take

    Takes me further from heaven

    Is there a heaven?

    I`d like to think so

    Standards of living

    They're rising daily

    But home oh sweet home

    It's only a saying

This is one of my favorite topics, perhaps because I am a 4th house Libra. :)

Look at that view!  and the fireplace!    I'm from the land-locked Midwest and I really want a modern California oceanfront home... in my dreams.

eta:  satori, I adore bougainvillea.  I sometimes dream of a little adobe Santa Fe-lookin' house, myself.

You rung my number!  A funky little apartment with brightly colored walls (kiwi green?) or coffee house decor with a red upholstered couch indigo walls, and checkered floors.  An upholstered sofa.  A fainting sofa it's called.

A funny color palette (though the rooms are cheesy):

Maybe like this though it's too spacious:

There was an Anthropologie quilt I wanted:

I gave this to my friend:

I have this intuition that I can't decorate my space though I want to so badly.  And it hurts me.  I want to have taste so much.  I asked my friend and she said that I have good knowledge of other's taste as I am good at giving gifts and "good taste takes forever to develop" that BITCH.

Like the cool coffee shop I'm in right now:

See, I think I'd prefer something like this

Gemini sun/rising likes lots of different things and would want at least two houses, Sag moon wants to keep moving.  Fourth house has Pluto (Rx) at 29 d 21m Virgo

I want a hobbit house, like a cabin, in the mountains. A place to grow food. More private and allowing for self-reliance Oh yeah - and a whirlpool bathtub!

Mars and Neptune in the 4th.

    and a view like this:

It's the home I already own.  Near the mountains for the Capricorn in me.  Near a beautiful river.  Beautiful inside all hickory hardwood and outside (needs more landscaping).  In the forest, but near the thriving downtown. 1/2 hour from snowboarding.

Shannon, yours literally made me "LOL" :)

I'll come back to this once I find the actual image of the house that I like... It's one I saw on a show years ago and I have never forgotten it, so that must mean something.  I don't know that I'd necessarily want to live there per se but it'd definitely be a sweet vacation home!

Hmm, can't find this exact house... But this is something like it:

Something with lots of windows, and light.  Lots of rooms and space.  But sometimes the whole minimalist style home can be very cold seeming.  I don't want that.  I'd brighten it up with lots of warm colors, and make sure it never felt very cold.  Wood floors are a definite, lots of recessed lighting, and two stories preferably.  And a pool!

Not sure which placements deal with home... I have Sag Sun (12th house)/Rising, Jupiter is in the 4th house in Aries, Saturn and Uranus conjunct each other and my ascendant (all in Sag) Venus in 1st house in Capricorn Neptune in 1st house also Capricorn (they are conjunct)...

    :)

Oh Goddess, you beat me to it.

I've always wanted an underground house.

    More here:  http://www.homedit.com/earth-house-by-peter-vetsch/

    I'd take this.

That's the gorgeous little cottage we rented when we were in Ireland.

But better if it's here a few miles away from the tempest in a tea pot that is John's little home town.  Moville is on the "wrong side" of the peninsula according to John's cousin Paul who fancies the sunsets over the sea.  I like the wrong side because it's sheltered a bit more from the worst of the weather that the Western coast sees.

My dream home changes constantly.  I draw house plans for fun.  *laughs*  One of the best presents I ever got was the Christmas the ex bought me architectural software.

One thing I would like is for it to be defensible and self-sustaining for the impending zombie apocalypse.  *nodnodnod*

A farmhouse in New England. This one is in Maine, close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park (we honeymooned there).

I can't get the image to post for some damn reason.

Cancer IC; if Equal houses are used, Sun and Mars in 4H.
