Now, I should explain.  Street vendors - aka roach coaches, taco trucks, etc - are a pretty big thing here in LA.  I got excited when I finally managed to chase down the Kogi truck.  I mean, Korean BBQ made into Mexican style food that you eat standing over an industrial sized trash can with ten other people - what's not to love?!

OK anyway.  So Joe Cool (this is a guy I met in my dance class, booyah) and I are chatting one night about the trek across town and such, and he mentioned his taco trailer had been upgraded to a taco truck and we got to talking about the street food and what not, and he invited me on a date ... to "his" taco truck and his hole in the wall bar.

And I thought it was brilliant.

See how that works?  So I'm excited about a date for the taco truck tonight.  LOL

I guess my only point with the post is that you don't always have to do fancy stuff to impress people.  It's way more about what the other person finds interesting and appealing than anything else.  At least that's my take on it.

LOL SaDiablo.  See, you appreciate the street food.  I find that not everyone does, and that's OK too.  But me?  I love me some taco truck!

So I got some tacos last night after our trek to the bar.  (Awesome bar, too.)  And then I got a few more for a late night snack, as ya do.  Especially when the tacos are a buck and a quarter each.   I got home and went to put them in the fridge and went ... you know ... they are still warm .....

um.  Yeah, no late night snack for me *snort*  I sat there at my computer, no less, nose running and eyes watering, grinning like a fool.

Life is good.
