I have found in these lastest years I have become very responsible with money when I was a spender in a great way for most of my life. I used to think the other party was more responsible with money and this took a lot of my power away when I let them manage all the money. I have now ended up managing some things when it comes to our money and I feel much better about this. I wondered if others have a divide when it comes to managing money.

Who manages money better, you or your partner?  If you don't live with a partner do you manage money better than your parents did?

I'm more responsible than my partner for sure.  He's very generous and impulsive, and has a hard time remembering things like bills.  Our life runs much more smoothly when I make sure things get paid on time.

My mom is much more responsible with money than I am, and my dad was much less responsible than me.

We're both good but we have nothing on my parents, who are great at it.

Well I pay all my bills, so that is responsible, but if I need something like a popsicle Annalisa always has the coin on her.......... so that is responsible too, she has magic places where money just appears from, she is the best at saving money or just having it.

My dad and my mom were total opposites about money. My dad was super responsible and tight-fisted and had very minimal wants. My mom was on a money roller-coaster and it was like water through her hands. She liked to shop and it was out of control, to the point her house is full of products still in their boxes. She also is a pushover and will give money to whoever flatters her or guilts her.

I'm like both but I go from one extreme to the other. I live like monk then I live like  a princess then like a monk then princess , yada yada yada...

I hope to find more balance with this :/

No one could be more responsible than my mother...or more irresponsible than my father.  Except my husband, Oh Hi, father figure!
