Why are some people more sensitive to transits than others?
posted 1 year ago in Beginners
Some of my problems during my worst transit I either brought on myself out of being naive or old fashion stupid. The worst thing was that I got a clear intuitive hit and chose to ignore it; which set off a chain reaction of terrible events that I just barely lived through. Some of my suffering there was just no avoiding, so for reasons I may not know in this life, my soul had lessons to learn through those experiences.
Let's just say that I have learned compassion that you can't get from a book.
Maybe you are just much wiser than me or have a more mature ego therefore you suffer less.
I only felt Saturn transits. I don't even remember Neptune conjunct my moon as anything unpleasant, and so far transiting Pluto trine my moon hasn't caused everything to be destroyed (yet).
Beats me. Maybe you only get affected by the most hammered planets in your chart when they transit?
Pluto opposite my Moon was not jarring in my memory, but being that that Moon is in my 12th house, perhaps the effects were hidden or veiled to me? Pluto going over an angle, now, that has been very acute. I'm thinking that with the outer planets, conjunctions are more noticeable than any other aspect, Tipi. Maybe?
I think it also depends on how comfortable you are with the triggered parts of your chart & what those areas of the chart "do."
Pluto opp moon was a nightmare for me. Sure wish I knew more about astrology back then.
I think it has everything to do with how a given natal planet is aspected in your own chart.
Difficult transits for me have been the ones that set off my natal t-square. I am less impacted (or impacted in a positive way) when the transit affects one of the trines in my chart.
Tipi my instinct when I read your post was "Hm. Aquarian?"
Aquarians have a special knack for 'rolling with the punches' imo.
Kashmiri you are right of course! ![]()
I'm of course Aquarian (3 planets there) but with a scorpio rising. So it's like hot and cold all the time. Rather annoying actually!
So now I only count Pluto conjunctions. When pluto was on my asc I lost my friends (the both of them) (no, they didn't die). But at least I noticed that! ![]()
When I was young I would buy forecasts and wait them to be true and nothing ever happened. But mainly my solar returns were about *mind this and that* meaning no good stuff was going to happen! No action over here.
The only way to tell years apart is to look at my CV and look if I was working that year! How boring am I?
ahh probably not boring at all. i've just noticed that with the aquarians close to me there is plenty of imagination and creativity and feeling, and not a lot of *hand wringing* ...
i move so much i am able to tell years apart by thinking about the houses I lived in.

Why are some people more sensitive to transits than others?
Few years back I had Neptune conjunct my sun and later moon and nothing.
Reading the post of "worst transit..." there were people with serious transits with ten bad things happening to them back to back. Why is that?
Only transits that I have felt were by pluto. And it was not so bad as some people have had. Now I'm supposed to have *uranus opposite pluto* = "sweeping changes" but nothing has changed. I still have the same problems as 20 years ago. (not that I want anything bad to happen to me...)
Why is this?
