@Michele, I know what you mean :P. My venus conjunct mercury - I'll use irony or puns or big words to see if the man can keep up. And though I don't sound terribly eloquent here on the boards, I'm EXTREMELY picky with how I communicate and am terribly turned off by inarticulate men! They must keep up!

I've got venus in leo. usually i just like to look good, though that doesn't necessarily mean physical looks. I just like to look competant (read: the best.) I think so long as I get admiration or praise for something, or if I know I'm better than other people at something, I'm satisfied.

i dont know, it's not exactly the most traditional view of my venus sign. i'd rather have someone praise my skill to kick their butts in a paint ball match/video game tournament/debate and know it's genuine (and that the competition was a challenge) than have them praise me for my "looks" when I don't really value them.

Venus conj Mars in Leo-I love wordplays and can be humorously theatrical when showing love and I can be a 'ell lot of fun...in fact, there is the Jupiter in Gemini on the 5th house, too, that's at play. It makes my fiance's Scorpio 8th house Venus-Pluto conj lighten up a lot.

When I was dating I was very honest and a bit blunt. This comes from Venus in Aries being trined by a ton of Sag. I did not flirt for I am more direct and don't really have the skill of flirting but I had my ways of communicating my interests. I must say I may be the most forward person I have met in how I flirt with the people I have been interested in. I only fall for guys who are friends. The more I get to know them... the more the neptune kicks in, and the better they look. I'm a big flirt - I'm very good at it - but when it comes to talking of my deepest feelings I'm very circumspect with the man concerned. That's only for very intimate moments, and I have to feel very secure (in the moment at least - I've never felt all that secure!).

Venus in Leo - not sure I how I "talk this" - it is in my 9th house. I do know I am kind of a hair snob. I like my long hair and I do like long hair on guys - or they at least have to have interesting hair (or if no hair be nicely bald). Funny I used to be a hair stylist! :) I like the hair. You have to take care of the hair - or I will notice.
