Do you fit your moon sign?

Moon in Aries- Blows off steam and lets it go easily (unless its something really extreme).

Moon in Taurus- Goes lounging on the couch or rocking chair to contemplate problems.

Moon in Gemini- Talks to someone or communicates to feel better.

Moon in Cancer- A bubble bath anyone? Or looking at a locket a past lover gave you.

Moon in Leo- The clubs or karaoke bars. Or paint a picture to prove to yourself you have talent.

Moon in Virgo- Hides their insecurities behind work at the office or vacuuming.

Moon in Libra- How about going to the clubs and socializing.

Moon in Scorpio-Get revenge! Find out where they live!

Moon in Sagitttarius- Goes to the gym.

Moon in Capricorn- Block of your feelings or push them all the way down.

Moon in Aquarius- Try to find a solution by looking at things objectively or rebels negatively (for the more immature Aquarius moons).

Moon in Pisces- Go daydream of a better future under a tree on a beautiful sunny day or write a poem about better days.Prays to God.

Please don't take this post seriously! Lol.

Yes, I do fit my Moon in Leo, I usually do something to prove I have talent/I'm good at something.

Actually, the "communicates to feel better" definitely fits me and I am indeed Moon in Gemini :)

I'm a Scorpio Moon and in my case this "Moon in Scorpio-Get revenge! Find out where they live!" is nowhere near the truth. I read that often for scorpio moons, and there's just not a revengeful bone in my body. I think it's more complicated than that. it depends on the rest of the chart.

Moon in Aquarius here - I do think things through - sometimes waaaaay to objectively. I envy people who have water and can just feel things without analyzing them first.

Taurus moon here.....do not forget some finger food by lounging on the sofa

Leo moon and that does not fit me. I talk it to death. I have to talk and talk and talk and rationalize it out. But I definitely don't feel like being around people when I'm hurting, unless they're interested in listening.

Cancer moon - I don't look at old stuff or take baths, so I don't fit that description.  What I do like to do is work out or play a sport, and I play hard.  I need to get the bad feelings out in a non-destructive way.  However, one thing's Cancerian about it - I will retreat.  Far far away from whatever was bothering me until I can work it out enough not to be over emotional when I confront the situation or whatever it was again.

Oh yeah, and I NEED something to make me laugh too.  A comedy, a person, whatever.  Make me laugh and I can move on!  :)

    HAhahahahhahaha

Moon in virgo Annnnd Heck ya.

"Hides their insecurities behind work at the office or vacuuming."

If I get all the way to vacuuming on the chores list someone's head is going to roll because by that point I've analysed it to death. The roster goes clothes off the floor onto the bed, sorted into laundry, laundry in, scrub the floors, laundry in the dryer, do the dishes, Ironing, by the time I'm on detail work ie. folding clothes, vacuuming, getting crumbs out of the cutlery drawer, I've decided on my course of evisceration. I mean over it. hahahahah.

Moon in Cancer(8th house). It fits me perfectly.

I had a group astrology reading once and when he got to my chart, he said

"oh, your the type that hides in a room and cries and cries, not telling anyone you were hurt. Your very sensitive and people hurt you without realizing it"

I about shit myself, he told a Scorpios secret in front of a huge class of people!

May not seem like a big deal, but no more class readings for me. He was a triple Aries.(Honest big mouth)

My Moon is in Libra and I do just the opposite, I am more of a withdrawal type of person. Maybe because my 9th house Moon is conjunct 8th house Pluto. I usually take action, be it revenge or just bettering myself.

Virgo moon. I prefer laundry. Or drinking. Or both. It's the piles! I love making those piles of freshly folded shirts and pants with a whiskey back.

Me? Hurt? Hah! I never show weakness!

Seriously though, cancer moon and I usually just go to my room and listen to music about whatever's bugging me (sometimes to the point of self pity). I need to get it out of my system before I'm ready for the world again.

I think you have to look at the fourth house, house of the moon and other connections to see people's reaction to hurt.

I'm an Aries moon, but when I'm hurt, my Cancer Venus hurts, and then my Mars/Saturn in Scorpio on the IC in addition to moon in the 8th DWELL and and try to get revenge in some way (or at least dream of it), and then finally the explosion happens if the person is still around me, and then poof-Aries moon release. But no, I don't get over it easily, though much of the energy leaves my system when I tell someone off, which makes it easier.

Guys I have a different observation on this subject.  I think the moon is our proverbial threshold, one that we surround and protect ourselves with.  And healing from hurt comes from Pluto-Chiron tandem.

Case in point - an individual with Pluto in Virgo and Chiron in Aquarius would devote one's self to charity work not because they feel for the needy (reserve that for Cancer and Pisces) but rather it eases their pain (whatever that is) to do charity work.

Pluto in Libra with Chiron in Aries - Bonding with friends/partners in sports activities, brainstorming about any particular subject, planning for the future....like starting all over again.

Pluto in Libra with Chiron in Scorpio - Sexual healing?

    Okay guys, do the permutations...

I think the Pluto-Chiron team up would give the platform where we can pool our resources and bounce back....

Libra Moon, but the Gemini Moon fits me.  Air in general needs to talk things out.

Hurting for me seems to run the same range as grief. Anger, denial etc etc ending in acceptance. Obviously it depends on the level of hurt as to how much time the experience lasts. For example, taking the dog to the vet for a procedure would take less time than seeing my daughter off to University.

Sorry, scrap that. Hurting is an organic thing for me. It is part of every waking moment to various degrees. Having said that, so is joy. Being alive, for me, means being open to feelings of all sorts. Thinking evokes feelings. Eating, speaking, experiencing life involves feelings and therefore pain, love, sadness and elation.

    Moon in Scorpio conjunct Neptune.

I have Aries moon in the 4th... I can have a wicked temper, most things don't stick with me and I move on once I let it out.. but when things sit and I don't release them, I'm like a ticking time bomb.

These are all based on people I have known...

Aries Moon: Pitch a fit, throw something, find your valium.

Taurus Moon: Smoke something...then eat something while watching Dirty Dancing for the fiftieth time.

Gemini Moon: Put on a wig.

Cancer Moon: Make a navy-sized batch of something fattening and force those around you to eat it.

    Leo Moon:  Buy new sunglasses.

Virgo Moon: Pop/smash/squeeze every blemish on your body.

Libra Moon:  Stay home and paint a naked lady. Or the sky.  Or a naked lady in the sky, yeah both.

    Scorpio Moon: Fuck something.

Sag Moon: Go on an idealistic rant about whats wrong with the world. Then go shoplifting.

Cap Moon: Make a commited decision to finally clean up your house, 5 hours later make a shadow box out of some odds and ends you found lying around instead.

Aqua Moon: Buy a book you've never heard of, flip through it...then tell the captive coffee girl and any one else who will listen to you all about it and how hilariously naive you found it to be.

Pisces Moon: Wear the purple scarf and pine for him... at the coffee shop where he will see you.

    (ps. Im ScorpMoon, teehee)

But, yes with Moon in Libra I want to be in my house by myself with my things...books, painting, good food, good wine, good music....Moon in 2 house....

Capricorn moon is correct. I'm not sure what to do with this placement: I'm the most repressed person in the world!

Don't forget fajalobi78 about your house placement of the Moon!

For example, I may be a Moon in Leo, but doing 6th house things actually make me feel better.

Scorpio moon here... I guess I purge emotionally.

I'm going to assume you're referring to the type of healing that's needed after a breakup, or the loss of a friend, or some such catastrophic event. I've never experienced the death of anyone close to me and I would imagine it would be 10 times worse than this, which is pretty bad...

Movies play in my head - scenes of happy memories, with a soundtrack sometimes. I walk around crying like a psycho, pretty much for any reason. I avoid people, because I've found that no one can really relate to me when I'm like this anyway. I cry and cry and then I get cold, and I realize that I need to raise my endorphins so I go and get a bunch of fruit and yogurt because that's pretty much the only thing I feel like eating... mostly I crave oranges when I'm in this distressed/depressed state.

(I have a feeling that the eating plays a key part in this mood swing deal. I don't eat because I'm upset, and then I guess my blood sugar probably drops, which makes me cry even more)...

Eventually, I seek out mellow Taureans to hang out with and latch onto their family lives. They're usually supportive and nurturing without trying to probe me too deeply.

sister scorpio moon, your post almost made me tear up. it expresses my experience to the mark. (do you have the crab in you?)

(i have moon conj. mars in 4th, cancer rising)

its [hardly ever] about revenge. its more intensity aimed at myself...

except i I have to find my own taurean. cause i dont have any friends or family near me.  so thats where the food, bubble baths, a nice smoke, 300 count sheets, and fingerpainting come into play...

I have problems loving my scorpio moon.

    Hi Chamirose,

Don't cry! I would make you some soup if you were near...

I do not have the Crab in me, but I think I have the South Node in Cancer (is that the right node - the one where you tend to emotionally latch on and not let go?)

I like having a Scorpio moon... it gives me some depth with all this air in my chart. And as low as the lows are, the highs are oh so incredibly high...

Try to remember the feeling you experience AFTER the crash. The one where the sun shines again and you're renewed - a stronger, better, more powerful you.

PS: so funny you mention 300 count sheets! I won't settle for anything less. :)

sometimes it seems there is no end to the depth of my pain and feeling.

And sometimes, I feel it is almost an obsession.  When I have someone living with me, I cant crawl in there and stay. and thats a curse and a blessing.

bascially i just need to know how to tap into it and how to set aside and/or channel it into something tangible outside of myself (taurus).

the more powerful me after the crash. yeah, its cool. its my jupiter. its my big, hearty tearful laugh.

The only air I have is venus in libra (4th house as well) and well, saturn in aq. 8th house which is this WHOLE PROBLEM RIGHT THERE~ hahaha.
