There was an incident at the video game place over the weekend that brought it up. I'm chasing my 2 1/2 yr old grandson and while doing that, my 6 y/o nephew jumped on a rollercoaster simulator. I didn't realize that he had cut line until the woman waiting for the ride started cutting me for just "letting my little half breed kid run all over the place." Then she said, "I guess manners can't be bought" and just kept goin on and on making off handed remarks not directly to me but about me and I'm standing RIGHT THERE. So, I took my grandson to my son. Waited for my nephew to finish his ride and took him over to my other son (I just wanted to make sure they were a safe distance away yanno) and went back and said something to the effect that I was sorry my nephew cut in front of her but if she continued to degrade my family I'd gladly step outside and show her that even though we were 'mixed breed' I still had a strong set of redneck genes. Then I shamed her for being an adult crying over a game designed for a child. Her husband decided it would be a good time for them to leave at that point.

Ox had went back to get more to eat and missed it all. So, the Jupiter Gemini was recounting what it's like.

I have Virgo Mars in the 9th house it squares my Sag Neptune and trines my Venus. It may not seem it. Looks are very deceptive. Let's face, it Virgo is ruled by Mercury and boy do I know how to use it well!

I have Mars/Jupiter in Aries opposite Uranus but was raised in this super mannered way. So I have a loooong fuse and know how to manage myself but I also do rash and stupid things like yell at men who catcall me and intervene in street stuff in ways that make my husband worried for my safety.

The other day this asshole guy was yelling at his dog on the street as I biked by and so I slowed down and said "I f*cking SEE YOU yelling at your dog. I SEE YOU." He did stop, but not a good idea, probably.

I have Merc/Mars in Pisces square Uranus - Yes, I can have a temper and it usually comes on quick.  That woman would have pissed me off (esp the half breed comment).  I would have done something similar. My temper usually comes out verbally, and it usually gets triggered by rude people lol

I think if someone said that too me I'd be so angry that someone would call the police and an ambulance for me, because that much anger can't be good for your heart.

I have Mars in Libra @1 deg in my 6th house, but it trines my 1st house Sun and Moon, and sextiles Uranus so.....I've got a hot and quick temper about certain topics. I just usually burn quick, then step back a few feet, then come up with a retort that will make sure I don't have to say another word to such mean people ever again in our lives if it's possible. Sun/Mars, then Moon/Mars, then Merc/Pluto says, "I've got this."

I've often described it as a nuclear bomb with a mile long fuse.  It takes a lot to piss me off, but once I'm pissed off at you there's almost no chance we will ever be friends again.  I'm a salt-the-earth-behind-me kind of enemy.

I have a temper. It flares, burns very hot but I don't stay mad.  Usually resolve things in an hour if not 10 minutes. 

I can sometimes be mad at my husband overnight, but usually we've moved into some other territory by then. Some kind of deeper disturbance, more like being triggered and working with my own psychology as opposed to anger.

Josi, that temper of yours should have gone off and I'd be tempted to slap that woman and go wild on her! I hate racism and to hell iwth her and her ignorance!  She obviously was raised with no intelligence and the world would be better off with her out of it!

I agree Annalisa. But, I still had a few hours with those kids and although I wouldn't have backed down if it had escalated, her stupidity wasn't worth losing the fun we were having. I debated it for a few minutes.

This way, the kids didnt' have a clue. She left. We went to the next game and had a great day! She got the amount of time and energy she was worth. Which was very little.

agree with dolce... Mars square Moon could be quite something something! Mine is  1H Geminia Mars square 4H Aries Moon. However I think my first House Jupiter in Cancer softens things a bit.

It flares very quickly and goes just as quickly, except when you messed with me or my kids.  I let the anger go until the next time I see your sorry ass...then except to be on the receiving end of my claws if you try your shit again.

Yes, I do have a temper. I have learned to control it by way of getting to know my body better as an adult. I can feel myself get very very hot--so hot I have to start taking off layers of clothing.

I like the distinctions of anger I read about in a novel once: "hot" anger (flash in the pan anger) and "cold" anger (implacable, destroying anger).  It really resonated with me.

I'm more prone to hot anger, there and gone in a flash.  I touch off at least a few times a week, honestly, but at least it's down from a few times a day.  *grins*  Cold anger doesn't happen so much.  I can only think of maybe two or three times that's happened and it's scared the bejeebers out of me when it happened.
